An enchanting place. I stayed in the Casa del Bosco, a magical setting surrounded by greenery that allows for a truly relaxing experience. We dined at the restaurant. The cuisine was exquisite, high-quality, with attention to detail in every dish and a love of tradition.
The rooms are wonderful: spacious, elegant, spotlessly clean, and equipped with every comfort, including details like bathtubs overlooking the forest and infrared saunas. It's like living in a dream.
The staff is kind, friendly, and attentive, making guests feel at home.

We only went to the restaurant, which was a wonderful culinary experience. The sommelier was friendly and knew how to choose a lovely wine for us. Our only concern was that the staff seemed a bit rushed. I understand it can get busy, but customers shouldn't feel rushed. Last but not least, the dessert was heavenly…❤️❤️❤️

I had lunch at Trattoria "Al Cacciatore" (the Michelin-starred restaurant, not the osteria, a fact that many people who write reviews about the place overlook) last December with my whole family, after years of wanting to go, and I can say that my expectations were completely fulfilled.
The restaurant is located in the heart of the Collio area, and the setting is truly charming, warm, and welcoming.
As for the food, well, I can only say that there must be a reason it's been a benchmark for all things gastronomic in the region for years.
Eating here gives you a taste of authentic Friulian flavors (prepared, of course, with a touch of gourmet elegance that makes all the difference).
I also paired the tasting menu with four glasses of wine, which took me on a journey throughout the region, reminding me (as a Friulian) why we're envied around the world for our wines (I loved the Ribolla macerata from La Castellada).
Unbeatable value for money in my opinion (considering the prices of many other Michelin-starred restaurants), and the people who complain about it being too expensive have clearly been to too few restaurants and have no idea what they're talking about.
Worth returning to again and again; in short, a source of pride for Friuli!
