Visiting as a tourist and had high hopes given good reviews and recommendations… Nice location on a less busy street and friendly staff. But food disappointed, the carbonara was served more room temperature than warm, and guanciale was more chewy than crispy. Asparagus seemed a little under seasoned and meatballs were pretty dense and firm. Maybe it was an off night, but ate better for less money during my visit to Rome.
Food's not very good but it was expensive. Don't eat the fish you'll get rubber.

Main course of blue fish was like a piece of rubber. Chewy. Not good. My partner's main which included local sausage was hard and over cooked. Green beans were perfectly cooked. Desert was like something from McDonalds. If you're a foodie go elsewhere. Sorry. My opinion. The whole meal felt rushed.

We had dinner at this Osteria, we had a pasta dish of the day with pesto and beans + a fish dish, it was good but not exceptional, compared to other Osterias, and the fish dish was really small compared to the price of it.

Relatively small menu but delicious options. I went for the gluten free ossobuco on the website menu only to be told the menu changed. Had an octopus salad instead and honestly, not mad it, it was fantastic. With tomatoes, potatoes, olives, capers. Had as an added surprise this grass cooked in - paccasassi - that was such a refreshing addition I wish I could grow it at home or eat a whole bowl of it.
Attentive to dietary restrictions, had very good gluten free bread although you get a full bread basket for 4€ of a selection of normal breads, but for 2€ you get one small gluten free roll. As everywhere, the gluten free penalty is insane, this needs to stop. 3.50€ for a bottle of water was also a bit high.
My companion had their amatriciana, which they enjoyed. Seating inside and outside, quiet location, friendly service, relatively affordable, not touristy or flashy at all. I'd go again.
