Osteria carinissima sembra quasi fiabesco il titolare amabilissimo e super professionale piccolo meno tutto molto vecchi tempi veramente una perla nascosta. Tutto ineccepibile. Dalle foto di personaggi famosi sembra rinomato da almeno 50 anni. Ci ritorneremo volentieri

Quando, in una camera d'albergo, dopo aver invano ricercato un tavolo libero nei vari ristoranti modenesi, l'8 marzo (....festa della donna), ti imbatti, per caso nella Trattoria frequentata dal grande Enzo Ferrari, non puoi che ritenersi FORTUNATO. Partendo dell'accoglienza CALOROSA e FAMILIARE, si prosegue con le prelibatezze dei piatti dal sapore unico di una volta. Tutto accompagnato da un vinello di loro produzione BUONISSIMO. Insomma, se dopo aver visitato i due Musei Ferrari (Maranello e Modena) volete concludere in bellezza, QUESTO È IL POSTO GIUSTO

Excellent products, recipes from the past, the owner is spectacular, and the environment, like an old tavern, makes time stand still. Tortellini are my favorite! Absolutely must try!

At Piola you eat with the famous and less so with ghosts and others. There's no question that you eat well but you go above all for the hospitality and the unique experience. Go and/or come back!

Osteria found by pure chance. An atmosphere from other times certainly to our taste. Very simple menu, two first and two second courses of your choice, but the best proposal is a taste of everything. A taste that practically translates into an all you can eat, but of quality, not sushi. Place not suitable for children and for those of us who are not gluttons, in short, people who cannot take advantage of the quantity given the cost of the fixed menu at 35 euros per person. Excellent soup, ok tortellini, maxi-sized meatballs with choice meat, unfortunately tasteless mashed potatoes. Particular local wine: barricaded in cherry barrels it seems like drinking the juice. I wouldn't go back with family, but for dinner with friends. Best regards to the very courteous and fast staff

15/03/2025: So here the review is tough. Let's start with the owner, Mrs. Ada is in all respects the owner of the place.. in every sense. In the tavern there is only her who does everything: cooks and serves at the tables. The place is very small and the atmosphere is very, very homely and informal. At the same time it is also hilarious, based on the old customs of the past, where everyone talks and laughs together, in fact it can happen to know the diners during dinner. Obviously it is Ada who decides what to make you eat, consider the written menus as a beauty or decoration of the place. What is certain is that whatever she will offer you will have been made by her and I assure you that Ada is an excellent cook capable of representing the traditional Emilian cuisine at its best. If this were not enough, the lady shows strong theatrical skills that make her able to entertain the guests with real performances based on joviality and irreverence that, at times, seem to border on rudeness but I assure you that in her heart they never are. So if you know how to take her and if you know how to adapt, laughter is guaranteed, also because she is good at involving all the guests a bit who, by conformity of the place, are never more than fifteen to exaggerate, and finding themselves physically seated close together it happens that they start talking and joking among themselves. Then a lot depends on whether you find her having a good evening or not. Now, having made these necessary premises, there is no point in going if you expect a radical chic, silent and elegant place. The spirit of the place is not this, Ada does not change and will never change. Take it or leave it. Of course, as mentioned above, if Ada is having her day the evening will certainly be unforgettable but, if she is not, well it will still be... unforgettable... the choice is yours.
