As we were passing through, we stopped for dinner at Osteria da Omar.
A warm, welcoming atmosphere.
The dishes were very tasty, using local, seasonal ingredients. And a special treat: homemade pici pasta. Top!

Rustic Tuscan cuisine with everything your heart desires. Excellent cinghiale and appetizer platters.

Local cuisine in a setting reminiscent of the Maremma. I came here on the recommendation of a local colleague, and the lunch lived up to expectations. I'd particularly like the traditional dishes, acquacotta and wild boar cacciatore, which evoke the sensations and flavors of yesteryear. The cuisine is simple, but that's a plus, not a drawback, when you experience such strong, positive sensations while sampling the various courses. The service is friendly and helpful, and the rest is up to the ambiance and cuisine. In short, a place definitely worth trying, and I'll definitely return.
