Very nice little local restaurant, far from the tourist trap concept. Fresh produce, local wines and Elban recipes. Really nice.

We went to this little tavern intrigued by the excellent reviews and we must say that it exceeded expectations! Excellent dinner, spaghetti alla mine and zuppa elbana highly recommended. Manuela is a real host, kind and full of energy. We will definitely return on our next vacation to Elba!

We were passing through and, thanks to the good reviews, stopped in for a quick bite. A very friendly atmosphere, excellent food, and the Cozze and Polpo are highly recommended. The landlady, Emanuela, creates a welcoming atmosphere with her friendly demeanor!

La Miniera del Gusto is a gold treasure chest, with alchemical magic the chef transfers all the aromas from the sea to the palate. We have been several times for work in different villages of Elba and from there we go on purpose to Rio Marina, both in winter and in summer when there are many tourists ... and, the quality, is always of the highest level (something that usually when there are many customers not everyone is able to give). In the dining room the Queen of the place with her kind and cheerful Soul welcomes the guest and puts him at ease, while the Master at the stove transfers celestial emotions through his dishes ... the menu also includes dishes of typical Roman cuisine, for those who do not like fish. The assistants always attentive and fast complete everything. A true Miniera del Gusto!!! For those who do not know it, try it and return!!!

At the end of the dinner my girlfriend exclaimed "this place deserves a review". And here I am right on time. One of the best restaurants on the island, both in terms of food and service, truly loving and friendly. Generous portions (a rare thing these days) but above all delicious and super honest prices (another rare thing especially on the island). The atmosphere you breathe is typical of trattorias and quality reigns supreme. Highly recommended, very good!

Very nice and welcoming place. In the dining room kind and attentive to the various needs, we communicated allergies and they were very attentive. Very good and excellent quality dishes, definitely try the Miniera spaghetti and the spaghetti aglio, olio, bottarga: they are well cooked and with a nice enjoyable but not heavy seasoning. Highly recommended

Locale piccolino con una simpatica veranda all’aperto lungo uno dei vicoletti tipici del centro storico, a pochi passi dal mare. Ambiente semplice, caratteristico, ben curato, che si amalgama bene con la gentilezza e simpatia dello staff rendendo la permanenza piacevole. L’impostazione turistica è evidente, compensata da una buona scelta di piatti caratteristici tutti buoni, ben preparati e presentati, con stile prettamente tradizionale. Io provo una tonnina (ottima) e un polpo ‘briaco (anche questo davvero gustoso). Con una bottiglia d’acqua ed il coperto spendo sui 35 euro. Certo i prezzi non sono bassissimi, nell’isola puoi mangiare anche a meno, ma considerata la qualità, il gusto, l’accoglienza, li ritengo corretti. I punti negativi: il pane servito lasciava molto a desiderare, un peccato; e la toilette, non all’altezza.

Locale piccolo ma molto carino ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo la titolare vi saprà sicuramente consigliare il piatto che più vi aggrada cucina molto buona
