Let's say that everything is almost impeccable, if it weren't for the fact that the aubergines in oil, served as standard in the starter, are old, stale and without any flavour. It is sad to underline this because the criticism is repeated in many previous reviews, therefore, it is natural to ask, why is no action taken?

Returning to old Caserta...an unspeakable emotion...I was born in Mondragone and resides in Rome...and then knowing that even some scenes from my favorite fiction, my brilliant friend has no equal...
And this tavern recommended by a driver made us relive those authentic flavors that I had enjoyed in my grandparents' time!! Excellent and this is demonstrated by the numerous public figures who have gone from Venditti to De Sio and many others...

We went to this place on Sunday
The place where it is located is wonderful
Old Caserta is a splendid village and this restaurant is located right in an alley of the village
The food is good but does not excite the friendly waiters and the very quiet environment
However, I recommend it for spending a day with the family

Tipica osteria di altri tempi. Troppo ristretta la scelta dei piatti che è limitata ai piatti del giorno che sono buoni ma non superlativi. I dolci non mi sono piaciuti. Prezzi abbordabili. Proprietario un pò burbero ma la cameriera simpatica, gentile e disponibile solo a lei 5 pallini.
Nel complesso mi aspettavo molto di più.
