We were there for the second time today :) Just as great as the first time 🥳🥳🥳 we'll be back ♥️ What we think speaks volumes about this place is that it's full of locals and they truly celebrate Italian life there! 3rd visit: Other Austrians also found their way here today. The plate wasn't quite as good as on the other two visits. I didn't feel as welcome today. No thank you despite a generous tip, and no goodbye. The third visit was a bit disappointing.

I must say that it was a really great dinner that we had at this tavern in Ronchi. Today, being Friday, we also had the opportunity to eat their excellent risotto alla marinara. The sea was also the protagonist of the second courses, where we were able to appreciate the freshness of the raw materials used. We chose to share fried calamari spillo, which are addictive! and grilled local scampi, simply perfect and of excellent quality. To finish, an excellent plate of cheeses. The dinner was well accompanied first by a Friulano Colle Duga that went very well with the risotto, then by an Isolano D&G by Donnafugata, an Etna Doc based mainly on Carricante. Congratulations also to the staff for their professionalism.

Great choice for lunch before flying from Trieste Airport - just 5 minutes ride away. Friendly staff, nice Italian food, will be there again soon.

Absolutely fabulous, what a gem. We found this place by accident looking for a hotel close to Trieste Airport ahead of an early departure but so wrong. Fly in for a treat!

Pleasant experience, for a quick lunch, but with excellent quality fresh fish. The desserts, made by the chef, are also excellent. Fast and discreet service. Value for money, very good. We will certainly return to enjoy the specialties of this typical restaurant more calmly.
