Pleasant experience, for a quick lunch, but with excellent quality fresh fish. The desserts, made by the chef, are also excellent. Fast and discreet service. Value for money, very good. We will certainly return to enjoy the specialties of this typical restaurant more calmly.

I gave three stars to the food because three of us ordered local fried calamari and all three of us did not appreciate the dish as the calamari was hard and rubbery. Sin.

Fantastic local seafood restaurant that we can highly recommend. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish we tried was spot on, and it really felt like a place the locals love too. The wine list was also impressive, with great options to pair with the meal, and the staff were happy to help with recommendations. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy good food, and feel well taken care of.

If you have to define the most family oriented restaurant in the Ronchi dei Legionari area you can't miss "La Mariuta". Situated close to the Trieste airport, this small out-of-the-way fish restaurant should be on one's stop before flying out or when using nearby towns as a home base for Udine, Palmanova and Trieste excursions. The staff is super friendly, engaging and respectful to all types of customers, whether local or from neighbouring countries (Slovenia and Austria proximity). Fish dishes were prepared impeccably and just the right amount of quantity. Wines are local to the area, predominantly Friulano Tocai or Refosco, or the traditional Prosecco. Can't go wrong with Friulano culinary tastes, but then again I'm biased! This was our second time visiting "La Mariuta" in our last two visits to see relatives. It won't be our last!!!

Trattoria situata nel centro di Ronchi. Il menù prevede quasi esclusivamente pesce, le ricette sono rivisitate, come ad esempio gli spaghetti al nero di seppia con gamberi e aceto balsamico. gli antipasti si dividono in caldo, freddo, crudo. Nel complesso il cibo è buono, ma i prezzi a mio parere non adeguati, e soprattutto, se devo spendere €28 per un filetto di orata, o 22 per un botto, mi aspetto qualcosa di più di tovagliette e salviette di carta.. .

Gemütliche urige Fisch Kneipe mit sehr nettem Personal. Es gibt ausschließlich Fischgerichte und eine sehr ansprechende Speisekarte, man kann sich kaum entscheiden. Wir hatten Capesante, Canestrelli, Cape Lunghi und Garnelen vom Grill, Fischsuppe mit Scampi und Mazzancolle, Calamari in Tecia mit Polenta und eine gegrillte Fischplatte mit Calamari, Tintenfisch, Garnelen und Seezunge. Unbedingt reservieren!

04/05/2025: The best trattoria in Friuli Venezia Giulia and one of the best in Italy! My experience was complete in all aspects. The food was exceptional, from the highest quality raw materials, you can feel every ingredient that has been put on the plate with a masterly hand. All dishes were DELICIOUS! with many small interesting details such as crunchy wasabi crumbles in the Beef Tartar dish, the fried leaves, and much more. He also brought us some extra samples such as the ham and vegetable gel on the cauliflower salad before the first course, very fresh, good and balanced. Blecs with sclopit and San Daniele, no words, seasonal, fragrant, good good. The beef was unforgettable, such tender and flavorful beef I don't think I've ever eaten in my life. The place is beautiful, typical, warm, elegant. The service was impeccable, right from the phone call I felt pampered by the voice of the woman of the house. Everything perfect! A little more expensive than other places but absolutely worth every money. I will return several times with friends and family. A must for those who love good food!
