Great place, very nice host, delicious food (Brescian stuff), super cellar in the basement with hanging salami. Fascinating location in an alley near the old courthouse. Absolutely worth trying. I'll be back.

The real Osteria delle 1000 Miglia!
Without taking anything away from the Trattoria inside the walls of the Monastery, which has become the Race Museum, the Antica Grotta is truly one of the trattorias closely linked to the history of the most beautiful race in the world!
And you eat well too!
If you love the 1000 Miglia and you love the city of the Leonessa, you must go to dinner at the Grotta!

Truly excellent cuisine, typical of Brescia.
Mixed appetizers of cured meats, pinzimonio, cured raw meat.
Classic and pumpkin Casoncelli, delicious.
Very good and plentiful mushroom tagliatelle.
Sliced meat, peppered veal steak, fillet. Not to miss desserts such as tiramisu and tarts.
I also recommend the visit for the place, very characteristic with typical icons, maps and sayings of the area on the walls.
convenient for 2 steps to the center after lunch or dinner. Friendly and professional staff, very clean place, prices in line with the quality of the products.

Very welcoming restaurant, with delicious dishes that enhance the Brescian tradition. Excellent service: we were looked after by the owner, who was very kind and very helpful. If I were to return to Brescia, I would definitely stay here again! Super recommended

The tagliolini with porcini mushrooms are excellent, the beef braised in oil with polenta is also very good (a typical specialty not to be missed in Brescia). To conclude on a sweet note, a crumbly crumble at the right point. Service a little slow, but the good gastronomic offer makes up for the wait.

Beautiful historic place, with red checkered tablecloths like a tavern!! We recommend the first courses, kind and knowledgeable staff. A tip to the local some craft or agricultural beer in the area. To come back to try the horse!!!

Gentilezza e buon cibo fanno di un locale il posto perfetto dove passare una buona serata. Consigliato da amici, il locale rustico e accogliente offre primi e secondi tipici del posto. A tavola abbiamo provato diversi piatti e ne siamo usciti tutti soddisfatti. Da prendere assolutamente il secondo di carne con polenta, ottimo e delicato. Anche il vino della casa non male! Pienamente soddisfatta!
