We were attracted by the positive reviews read on the internet and the captivating photos of the dishes, we decided to go to this place. It looks like a very good, simple place, with friendly and welcoming staff. The varied list of first and second courses listed by Mr. Gianni was very welcome, so much so that I tried the parcels with speck and fontina, which were exquisite. The sliced ​​Angus steak accompanied with grilled vegetables is very good and above all tender. Plus I got the french fries. The dishes are plentiful, so I advise you not to have any aperitif before arriving at the restaurant, because trust me you will leave more than full. We were lucky to find a place, but generally, even suggested by the owners themselves, it is very difficult to find a place.

Places like this are a real heritage. These were the words I said just before greeting Gianni, the true innkeeper of this place from times gone by. A story followed in the past decades of the various vicissitudes of the tavern and the customs of the hamlet of Ghiarole. A journey through time worthy of that small world so indelibly described by the great Guareschi. For a couple of hours, time took on an indefinite connotation, between homemade, tasty and sincere cuisine, and all the staff who, between a smile and a joke in Emilian dialect, are the true custodians of this heritage so simple and for this reason it is so precious. Knowing that places like this still exist makes me happy. So see you soon, and long live Osteria La Golena.

If you want to eat well and traditionally I recommend this place. The only flaw is the restaurant room which is not very heated. Friendly and helpful staff.

Trattoria rustica gestita da un uomo che dire particolare è niente ! Simpaticissimo e disponibilissimo cosi come il giovane cameriere. Si mangia benissimo e si spende davvero poco! Consiglio vivamente

Tornato dopo 1 anno.... Piatti buonissimi e porzioni abbondanti.... servizio ottimo e veloce. Il titolare molto simpaticissimo. Poi quest' anno mangiando sempre dentro e non fuori non ho avuto problemi con le zanzare. Consigliatissimo!!!!
