Osteria La Frasca In Manciano

We ate in the outdoor garden, which was truly delightful in the evening, with the lights on in this tastefully furnished outdoor space facing this traditional stone farmhouse. The staff was attentive even though the place was busy. We had an appetizer of a mix of cured meats and cheeses, but above all, excellent first courses: really good pici all'agliata, and delicious pappardelle with wild boar. To follow, I wanted the Maremma-style wild boar with sauce and olives, which was very good, along with grilled vegetables (perhaps a little too few vegetables, to be honest; I would have liked a little more). Three glasses of wine, very good. To finish, a delicious tiramisu made by them, truly special. Really nice atmosphere. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

Very friendly staff and very good food

We spotted the restaurant while driving by and immediately reserved a table for that evening! The ambiance is absolutely lovely, outside in a quiet spot in the Italian mountains near the Saturnia Hot Springs. The food came quickly, freshly, and was very, very delicious. We had a white wine recommended by the waitress, and it tasted very good. At the end, we treated ourselves to a tiramisu; it wasn't a typical dish, but it was absolutely delicious. A great evening.

We were guests at Osteria La Frasca for two wonderful evenings al fresco under the shade of centuries-old oak trees. The osteria, housed in an old farmhouse within the Ciavatta Relais in Montemerano, offers traditional Maremma cuisine. We ate fabulous homemade ravioli and tagliatelle with ragù (all fresh and homemade), a flavorful tagliata served with tender, fresh arugula, a superb mixed sliced wild boar salami, a Maremma-style wild boar stew, a tasty and tender peposo (a kind of stew), and desserts (also homemade). I highly recommend it for its courtesy and the quality of the food. We didn't have to wait for a table because we had reservations.

Excellent food and decent portions, good value for money. One minus for the ambiance (paper tablecloths and napkins), given the beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended!

Very good food, the service is fast and polite. We went during summer so the location is outside, in the countryside. Be aware that in certain times of the year there can be flies around (however, if you go after the sunset this issue is much less relevant). In June we didn't have to book a table in advance, we could walk in and easily be seated. The staff is very friendly, they do their best to accommodate requests.

It is a place where you get friendly service and can eat well.

Very nice and characteristic Tuscan food, very good and well-kept, good and friendly service, the only flaw is the slightly high price especially for the Coca-Cola on tap and the cover charge.

Excellent food, service and very close to the Saturnia Hot Springs, we came from there and were looking for a place to eat delicious food
