Excellent food, generous portions, and a very friendly staff. This sums up a wonderful evening spent at La Fermata after a trip to Alba. Although we'd never visited these areas before, we were delighted by the excellent local cuisine! I personally recommend the tartare with black truffle, which for me was the best dish of the evening. It's a classic case of five stars not being enough.

An old station, very characteristic and well-furnished, preserving its old charm. The food is very good and carefully prepared, and the prices are fair. I was unable to book with the 30% discount; the already good value for money would have been even better.

During the bike tour in the Langhe we tried the Osteria La Fermata for 3 evenings. We had a great time. The food was excellent. Must try.

Cucina tipica piemontese. Locale particolare ma accogliente. Personale gentile, di poche parole, veloce. Mangiato bene, le polpette al cinghiale DIVINE!!! Unica pecca la torta di nocciole,da evitare, il resto MOLTO buono

09/08/2025: I had dinner at the inn, and the pizza was really good, well-cooked with fresh, authentic ingredients. The place was beautiful, and the staff were very friendly.

09/08/2025: I had the pleasure of dining here with my wife and our little one, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was simply outstanding — fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Every bite showed the chef’s passion for quality and creativity. The atmosphere was charming, with a lovely outdoor seating area that made our meal feel even more special. But what truly made the experience memorable was the people — the staff were welcoming, warm, and went out of their way to make us and our child feel comfortable and cared for.
09/08/2025: The food was 5/5! So delicious and fresh - the meat was specially tender from the tartare to the beef meatballs. We expected a big crowd being Saturday and peak holiday season, but the outdoor patio was breezy and quite free. This was the perfect stop for lunch after visiting the castle of Racconigi!
