Optimal! I had already had an aperitif here about a year ago and found it very good. Randomly passing by for lunch with a friend we decided to stop.
Excellent mixed crostini, delicious fried porcini mushrooms and excellent quality Fiorentina. The environment is, yes, "simple", but this is the beauty of it in my opinion!! I was also happy with the service! I'll be back

Stopped for lunch after a trek in the area, I was immediately struck by the rustic and familiar interiors of this place. The guys at the tables immediately put you at ease. Ate really tasty mixed crostini and fantastic maroni tortelli. To finish the typical chestnut cake. Honest prices. We'll be back to try other dishes!

In the middle of nowhere.....but really worth going there. Everything is excellent! Once you've finished eating you can always go for a walk or stop by Castel del Rio for a visit

Not many parking spaces available unless you leave your car in a no-parking zone on the nearby streets. The parking lot above the venue was full and in any case not very large.
There is no air conditioning and mainly the tables are outside on the street which is busy and noisy.
Fairly large tables with benches, very simple let's say.
Correct dishes, not abundant, quite good. For example, the tagliatelle with truffles tasted like nothing, we were forced to add cheese otherwise it was like eating tagliatelle with oil. When asked for Parmesan, the owner insisted on giving her opinion, looking at us in disgust, explaining that it wasn't a suitable combination, it had never happened to me, everyone has their own tastes and doesn't want to feel judged when paying. Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms very good, but better with cheese. Good cut with truffle. Excellent fried porcini mushrooms. Pecorino and figs nothing special. The service is the big flaw, it absolutely needs to be improved, it is not possible to ask for parmesan 5 times and not receive it and meanwhile play in the kitchen with the ball against the wall while the customers wait and see you. Asked for two portions of pecorino with figs as an appetizer, they brought everything on a plate without specifying that it was for two and without bringing the second course, logically the diner, not knowing this, ate it all. Warm, low quality house wine. Afterwards we got a bottle. Go there if you have time, the kitchen times are long, the staff is young and therefore there is plenty of time and opportunity to improve! Small and uncomfortable bathroom. Good price also taking into account everything said previously. 1 first course, 1 starter, 1 water, 1 coffee, cover charge, bitters around €36.
