A pleasure to have discovered a welcoming little restaurant like yours, luckily for me we are far away.. I would eat at your place very often otherwise.. The pampering given to the customer makes the difference ... Handmade tortellini with ragù are delicious..

Had dinner today tagliatelle with mutton ragù really excellent as everything else. Really good meat and also excellent dessert. What can I say a discovery! I think we will return we ate very well at the right price. Congratulations!

Typical tavern with an exceptional Host, the Host of the past, the granddaughters at the height of their grandfather.
Excellent food, pasta made by them and you can taste it... Salciccia matta very good even if "light" compared to my expectations as a Salento native used to lamb rolls.

Artificial Intelligence works!
The morning started badly: in an endless queue leaving from Milan with destination Recanati (MC).
About 4 and a half hours to travel 240km, my wife and I closed in our metal box together with thousands of other almost stationary boxes were on the verge of despair.
We decided to go out to Castel San Pietro Terme, shortly after Bologna, to look for a refreshment that would make us forget for a moment the disaster of the trip.
We head towards the hinterland to see a bit of nature and an inn where we can try the delights of the typical cuisine of the area: we ask the "Artificial Intelligence" and it advises us to travel a few more kilometers to reach the Osteria "La Civichella".
Comfortable and empathetic environment, without the frills of a starred cuisine but with a service and a room that immediately induce familiarity and human contact.
A menu limited to dishes that are prepared with local products and "homemade", such as the wonderful tagliatelle with ragù.
Traditional dishes and house wine (but you can see everywhere bottles of fine wines displayed and ready to be served, if requested)
Excellent cured meats and specialties, such as the "salsiccia matta" of their production that brings back ancient poor but true flavors.
Simple desserts but spectacular in taste and balance.
In essence: I do not easily give 5 full stars in my reviews and generally I keep the fifth for exceptional cases, often of haute cuisine, but here I found a situation that fully involved me: I am only sorry that the distance from home will hardly give me the opportunity to repeat the experience, but I hope that it can be useful to those who, passing through these areas, will trust my words and come to the "Civichella" to have an experience to remember.

Typical Emilia-Romagna tavern that takes you back in time. I recommend the egg pasta first courses made by them but their grilled meats are also definitely worth trying.
