This Osteria has a great atmosphere and food. The food was simple, but delicious. Wines are excellent with very reasonable prices, especially Lacryma Christi, 20 € for a bottle. Baba-dessert was highlight of our visit in rainy November evening.

After searching online, we chose this osteria for our first dinner of our four days in Naples. After our first experience, we returned for all three subsequent evenings. Need we say more? The food was delicious, the welcome was both professional and warm, and the atmosphere was clean, quiet, and welcoming. Ultimately, we became good friends with the delightful owners, whom we hope to see again soon!

"La Chitarra" plays a typically Neapolitan tune. Sweet, cheerful, intimate. Limited seating, no large tables: there are already eight of you, and Peppino divides you into two adjacent tables, each for four. People chat, no shouting; no children whining or running between the tables (there wouldn't be enough room anyway!): peace! Even for the palate. Because the cuisine offers only tradition, quality ingredients, and the passion of chef Giuseppe, who loves to chat with his guests (he doesn't call them "customers") after service. The price is more than fair.

Io e mio marito abbiamo trovato per caso questa osteria leggendo le recensioni, ed ha superato di gran lunga le nostre aspettative! Abbiamo preso la provola alla pizzaiola, raviolo fritto alla ricotta e polpette di pane come antipasto e polpette al sugo (cosi buone che si scioglievano in bocca), accompagnato da un delizioso calice di vino rosso.
Dulcis in fundo abbiamo preso un tiramisù degno di essere chiamato tale!
Che dire? Esperienza positiva e servizio impeccabile! Personale accogliente , cordiale e disponibile.
Buono il rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliatissimo!

Restaurante absolutamente fantástico. Gran relación calidad-precio y no sobreprecio con una gran variedad de platos auténticos. ¡Y las albóndigas iban a morirse! Evite la decepción reservando o vaya temprano.
