Osteria La Casellina In Pontassieve

It is the typical country trattoria where you can eat Tuscan dishes, but not only that. Excellent starters with a good choice of first and second courses. The prices are very honest. Definitely worth returning.

A "good-style" Tuscan restaurant with meat specialties (fantastic cuts) at a good price. Very kind waitress. There are 2 negative sides: - The environment was a little too minimal and cold (at one time they turned off the wood stove as if to make it clear that it was closing time). - POS not working...

Food was excellent, service was poor. Salad was served with the meal and the coffee didn’t come ( after ordered) until after we had our birthday cake and I had to get up and ask for our beverages to come before we finished our desert. Cappuccino was cool and no apologies. Though the service was slow, the check and credit card was picked up quickly. There were no apologies at all.also it is extremely noisy so if you have any business matters or want to propose to someone, don’t do it there.

We had lunch yesterday 03.11.24 with friends on a motorbike trip. Rustic and minimalist place (..I think a renovated former stable), located in the middle of the enchanting hill. All the dishes tasted good (starters, first courses and meat) definitely worth seeing again, croutons and sautéed herbs. Moderate and below average price, friendly staff. I recommend it to those who are not looking for useless frills.

What fantastic food for a very reasonable price. The food tasted delicious, the potatoes were also particularly tasty.

The food was very disappointing, I had read such good reviews. The meat contained large pieces of bone and tendons. I pointed this out to the server. The, probably, cook, yelled at me in Italian, I said happily in English. Then she said: that is somewhere else not here. And left. Never here again!

We ate an appetizer with raw ham, potato tortelli, tagliolini with sausage. Grilled steak with rocket. Profiteroles and tiramisu. All very good. Just the times a little too long.

Dad food and service were great. A manageable menu, but very tasty.
