Osteria La Capannina In Longiano

We were there on Sunday with a group of motorcyclists, excellent food and very kind staff 👍🏻

Today for lunch. My first time. The decor is very worn, as are the walls and floors. The menu is varied. We ordered strozzaprete alla Longianese (squaquerone, arugula, mushrooms) and, initially, tagliatelle with rabbit sauce. Ten minutes after ordering, we were told the rabbit sauce was out. At that point, we ordered tagliatelle with ragù. When we tasted it, the strozzapreti were al dente, but we could only taste the squaquerone and arugula (there was plenty), but not the mushrooms. There were 4 or 5 measly pieces. The tagliatelle with ragù was firm but not rough. In fact, the ragù remained in the pan. We had to scrape it up with a fork. The tagliatelle was good, ordered with salt and rosemary and with arugula and parmesan. Beautifully served on a wooden cutting board and accompanied by a stone for extra cooking (if needed). Herbs and potatoes completed the meal. Slow, inattentive, and listless service. The overall bill was above average at €80.50. Too much for me.

We went to Osteria La Capannina in Longiano and had a truly delightful evening! The location is very rustic and welcoming, with a large terrace that's warm in the winter. I imagine it's even more beautiful and charming in the summer, with the terrace open! The service was quick, friendly, and always smiling: the friendly and attentive staff made you feel at home. We started with the appetizers: crostini and a mixed platter. The cured meats were truly delicious, and the crostini were flavorful and well-seasoned—a great start. For our first course, we chose the passatelli with sausage and radicchio: truly flavorful, with the pasta nice and firm, just the way I like it! (The photo shows a portion for two and it was generous.) For the second course, we outdid ourselves: the mixed grill was wonderfully cooked, the tagliata was excellent, and you could finish cooking it over the hot coals to your liking—a fantastic treat! And the rabbit… FABULOUS. Extremely tender, with a perfect sauce for mopping up the piada romagnola. Generous portions and truly delicious: I'd go back for the meat alone! The house wine was good, and the complimentary spirits were always much appreciated. To finish, the tiramisu was immense, beautiful to look at and even better to taste. We spent about €35 each, absolutely well spent for the quality, quantity, and service. I'd go back in a heartbeat! 🔥

Everything was delicious, the panorama was spectacular, it's a shame that there are always so many people and you can hear it.

Decent meat-based dinner with kind and super helpful waiter and owner. I didn't give it the highest rating because I would have expected slightly more abundant portions. The rest was all good.

Top...homemade pasta with excellent wild boar ragù, superb grilled meat. Highly recommended

Always a guarantee! Very good first courses, delicious sliced ​​beef with arugula and parmesan served on a hot stone. Mascarpone with wafer and chocolate salami were delicious. Fast service despite the large space, and the view of the hill was beautiful in the summer!

We've been back for a while, but the flavors are the same, if not better! A squid-filled platter of arrosticini with fresh Greek yogurt, flan, and Angus beef! It doesn't get any better than this.

We stopped for lunch. The restaurant is simple and a bit dated inside. We sat on the veranda with a beautiful view of the surrounding hills. The food was good and the staff was very friendly! The prices were fair!
