Osteria La Cantinella In Barolo

In the center of Barolo, La Cantinella stands out for its attentive service and its intimate, welcoming atmosphere. The dishes are satisfying in both quality and quantity. The price is proportionate to the quality of the food, but of course, it also depends on the pairing wine. A magical experience at Cantinella di Barolo. We felt at home, on a veranda reminiscent of an old-fashioned shop. The welcome was excellent, as was the appetizer of local cured meats and cheeses, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Next, we tried risotto and a traditional dish, both delicious. Thank you for this wonderful experience; we'll definitely be back for another magical experience.

Let me start by saying that this isn't an osteria, but a gourmet restaurant. There's no arguing about the quality; if you're looking for that, this is probably the place to be. However, the portions are small and the prices are above average: a single platter (tastings) costs €24, and a main course is about €20. There was a service issue, which resulted in a delay of over an hour, allegedly due to a sudden arrival of a table of 30 people. Typically, for such a service issue, customers are offered something to compensate. This wasn't the case.

Osteria a mio parere molta carina e ben tenuta.. abbiamo mangiato molto bene, piatti ottimi nulla da ridire . Ci siamo sentiti molto a disagio per come siamo stati "trattati" dal cameriere, molto burbero e poco socievole. Premetto che non abbiamo ordinato una bottiglia ( prezzi superiori a 40€) per poterne degustare vari tipi.. già li l'abbiamo perso . Abbiamo ordinato un tagliere in 2 per poter poi scegliere con calma le altre portate, ci é stato imposto di scegliere almeno una portata a testa. Abbiamo ordinato un tagliere ed un brasato di vitello su fondo di asparagi, tutto ottimo se non che il cameriere più che appoggiare il tagliere non ha fatto altro... non sapevamo ne che salumi fossero,né che confetture né che formaggi... ! Poi abbiamo ordinato sempre dividendo le portate un maialino anche quello ottimo . Sulla cucina ed il buon cibo nulla da ridire. .. sulla gestione dei clienti e su come trattasse la sua giovane collega il cameriere di sala avrei molto da ridire! Prezzi comunque nella norma!

Gita in Langa Giro tra le vigne Passeggiata a Barolo Amici Sole Pranzo alla Cantinella, un locale davvero molto carino, molto curato, gestito con grande attenzione. L’accoglienza è molto cortese, il personale attento e molto professionale. La carta è interessante. Fedele al territorio con qualche rivisitazione non eccessiva e qualche piatto insolito capace di soddisfare il gusto di chi vuole allontanarsi un po’ dalla cucina tradizionale piemontese. Tutto veramente molto buono. In breve, una soluzione ideale per trascorrere una bellissima giornata. Naturalmente super consigliato 👏👏👏
