Do be careful that during white truffle season, you will be upsold. I had asked for 1g of white truffle, instead the waiter brings the whole truffle to the table and vigorously shaves as much as possible in the shortest period of time, before I'm supposed to say "Stop!" It's on me for not saying it sooner (by milliseconds), but I feel completely taken advantage of - 10g and 90 euro later... Lesson being to be very specific on how much you want, and not a gram more. The gnocchi was nice, but not worth the $$.

Barolo. Quaint local restaurant. Gourmet cuisine with a well-stocked and extensive wine list. Price proportionate to the quality offered. Reservation recommended given the notable turnout.

As frequent travelers who have explored Italy’s culinary landscape, we were excited to try this restaurant. The food was undeniably good, but nothing truly stood out among the dishes we sampled. Everything was well-prepared and enjoyable, but it lacked the memorable flavors we had hoped for.
The service was attentive, though there was a touch of pretentiousness in the air. The staff seemed eager to impress, but the experience didn’t quite match their high expectations. That said, they were prompt and professional throughout.
Overall, it’s a solid choice for a nice meal, but if you’re looking for something extraordinary, you may leave wanting a bit more.
