Excellent restaurant in the center of Bormio. High-level experience. Each dish is prepared to perfection and makes everything even more unique. Aesthetically the place is very nice and the interior decor is really delicate in white wood with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Really exquisite Sciatt and pizzoccheri are out of this world. We were pleasantly surprised.

I had an extraordinary dinner with really good traditional Valtellina dishes! Excellent service and a quiet room where you can talk peacefully. I will definitely be back!

Excellent family experience! We went to eat with the family and we were really satisfied. The menu offers traditional dishes revisited with great care, made with high-quality raw materials. We really appreciated the attention given to even the little ones, an unexpected detail that makes the difference. The staff was always kind and helpful, helping to make the atmosphere even more pleasant. The quality-price ratio is more than adequate, considering the goodness and refinement of the proposals. Note on the wines: the prices may seem a little high, but it is understandable since they are excellent Valtellina wines. Absolutely not to be missed is the glazed pork belly with their incredible barbecue sauce: a truly amazing dish! A culinary experience that deserves to be tried!

Booked here because of the good reviews, but I was a little skeptical because of the "double shift" which is usually never synonymous with great quality. Instead we ate very well, excellent sciatt, good pizzoccheri but with the addition of pesteda they become stellar, good ravioli, ok dessert. 1 starter 2 first courses 1 dessert water and beer 67 euros. I would say a little expensive but perfectly in the average of the places in the center of Bormio, indeed, perhaps a little cheaper than many others

...pleasant discovery! Courteous, helpful and attentive staff... very good dishes and exceptional desserts (strudel top marks) ...when I return to Bormio, a visit to La Bajona will not be missed 🥂

Bellissima scoperta Ottimo pranzo, abbiamo preso la Bresaola, Slinzega e ricotta, Pizzoccheri e strudel alle mele. Tutto ottimo. Ristorante accogliente, personale gentile. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

15/06/2025: I traveled to Chiavenna by public transport via Prättigau, Engadin, and the Maloja Pass. I went exploring the old town of this provincial town. The alleys are bustling with life. My stay at the Passerini was absolutely delightful. The ambiance at the Palazzo Salis is inviting, the food is excellent, and the service is both competent and friendly. The value for money is good. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The return journey by post bus over the Splügen Pass is interesting. A very nice excursion with a GA or municipal day ticket to Chiavenna at no extra cost.
02/05/2025: Fermarsi da Passerini d mangiare bene, coccolati in tutti i sensi dell‘ alimentazione, della gentilezza e della simpatia. Questo tris per molti ristoratori risulta talvolta arduo, qui é la regola aurea.

After walks, runs on the paths, playing with the stones of the stream, exciting experiences with the marmots..... succulent lunches in this very pleasant restaurant. Kindness, cleanliness, quality. With the Grandchildren around the world now, I returned to this place after many years. I could not miss the lunch break at this delightful restaurant. Always very welcoming, with a refined chalet style where wood covers the entire bright environment, full of flowers, with a priceless view of the valley and mountains. Typical dishes, with game, but also with different choices. Excellent quality and presentation of both the dishes, desserts and wines. Impeccable service with the Landlady who puts you at ease, polite and affable. Prices appropriate to the quality. Free parking on the street. Excellent revival. Absolutely recommended.
