Osteria Italia In Erba

I had lunch with family and friends, an essential menu, made up of dishes from Lombardy (more from Brianza and Bergamo) but well varied between tastes and genres. Only 2 starters, 4 first courses and 4 second courses, if you are vegetarian you have little choice. I had a starter with local salami (which had very little local flavor) and sciatt, Milanese risotto and as a second course a braised meat which was not on the menu (this certainly deserved praise), I also tried tagliatelle and casoncelli, all good and tasty, dishes that recall the grandparents' kitchen, when someone still had the time and passion for cooking. Small place, made up of 2 rooms with typical furnishings of 60s-70s trattorias, only one waiter who knew how to manage all the tables well. Before ordering, the waiter took care of the little ones by making their dishes arrive first. I would say the prices are a little high, €16 for a salami starter and for the main courses with polenta seem a little too much to me. Very little parking outside, but there are some places nearby.

We had dinner here last night and had a great time. Excellent food; Good service; Incorrect bill of €4 at first, but they noticed immediately and fixed it; Welcoming environment, albeit not too well looked after.

How lucky! I discovered another real TRATTORIA. Strictly TRATTORIA environment, tables, chairs, counters, fixtures... TRATTORIA menu with few but excellent dishes of typical Lombard cuisine. Service and times wonderfully from TRATTORIA. For parking, if you can't find it in front or in the small clearing on the left, I recommend going down Via Cavour. Here you will find another clearing where you can park. I recommend the house starter, fresh cassinelli and Milanese cutlet. For dessert, excellent eggnog with biscuits. Can't wait to return.

The strong point, beyond the cuisine, is the professionalism of the host! EDIT 2024, the addition of off-menu on Thursdays is excellent. Spectacular pizzoccheri. A compliment to the boy who manages the room, Alessandro, despite his young age, is very professional and attentive, courteous and prepared. One more reason to come back!

This was just great. We stayed one night in erba. Needed a place to eat dinner and stumbled over this fabulous place ( using TripAdvisor) Our friendly host prepare the meal totally according to our wishes. And everything was clearet created from good fresh ingerdients and made from the bottom. If we by any chance ever return to erba This will be our First place to visit.
