Sat outside with group of 6. Excellent service. Amazing portions for the price. The starters especially. Ravioli was excellent. Nice outdoor patio ambience and great overall experience.

Excellent service, tasty food with big portions

Great food for a fair price, but what made this place better for us than the others we were at, was the service.. professional and friendly, with patience and personal contact. A breath of fresh air compared to the “for you 10 others” attitude that we unfortunately often felt elsewhere around the lake. Here you don’t feel like a number, but welcome.

We had a wonderful time at Osteria il Pozzo. There was no waiting time and the service was fast. Several servers spoke French and were all friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and of very good quality. A great place to eat in Menaggio!

Absolutely one of the best restaurants in Menaggio. Popular with locals and tourists alike, our food was amazing with every bite. Fresh pasta & tomatoes, chocolate divine dessert and an ravioli made from scratch. We were completely grateful to get a table at this busy busy restaurant, I think we saw them turn away five or six parties. Be sure to make a reservation it will be hard to get in. Ignore some of these nasty reviewers I’m not sure what their deal is - they are totally off the mark. I’ve visited Menaggio nine times and I’ve wanted to eat here every time and last week was the first time I was able 😳 The service was friendly with smiles and suggestions. Family feeling and every table filled up. Great menu too, you can smell this restaurant from the street. You won’t be sorry

A very nice restaurant in the heart of town. A pleasant surprise as it was not a tourist trap. The atmosphere was very nice. The staff were the most friendly people! The food was great and we had a perfect evening.

This restaurant is so good, I kept looking for Stanley Tucci to come walking out of the kitchen with a big smile on his face. Small family establishment with mom in the kitchen and her kids waiting tables. Small menu but simply amazingly delicious. Large portions. So good we ate here twice on our trip .

Great time The pasta and ravioli are excellent. One small drawback is the burrata, which isn't up to par. It's a shame the fries aren't homemade. Very friendly staff.
