Good place. Decent food, not excellent or with particular flavours. Very friendly and helpful staff. A simple restaurant, the bill was perhaps a little excessive. Two first courses, two side dishes, a dessert and 0.25 of house wine €60. Evaluate yourself

Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff! Nice, warm and welcoming place! Excellent service and food! Prices more than valid compared to the quality! Also suitable for people with celiac disease or gluten intolerants given the variety of gluten-free foods!

Chef Luca is a master! We enjoyed a week of afternoon cooking classes in January 2025. Each day, Luca had meat and vegetables of the highest quality. He masterfully guided the three of us in preparing 5-6 traditional dishes each day. On the final day, Chef and his staff served us dinner. This dinner (& class) was an absolute highlight of our time in Perugia. The menu changes daily and is always filled with locally sourced ingredients which are prepared with great love and skill. Sono venuta per capodanno con la mia famiglia. Non era previsto un menu ad hoc, ma si ordinava a là carte. Sono rimasta sorpresa dal fatto che non fossero presenti contorni nel menu. Tutto sommato nella media ….

We ordered 2 platters of cold cuts and cheese which were all in all decent. second courses of meat not very tasty. The pasta with truffles is good. Too bad that some dishes listed on the menu were missing. The chocolate semifreddo is good and there is excellent attention to gluten-free options. The very dirty toilets need to be completely cleaned with dirt accumulated over time!!!! Price 121 for 4 people for 2 platters, 1 pasta, 3 second courses of meat, 2 desserts and half a liter of house wine.

Personally, a truly beautiful place: excellent food, which recalls the local tradition and does not miss the seasonality of the products and the creativity of the chef, competent and friendly staff (including Luca, the owner), pleasant and welcoming atmosphere of the place. As a Perugian, it is one of the restaurants in Perugia where I most willingly return.

Posto molto caratteristico, fuori dai percorsi dei turisti, per cui davvero autentico. Abbiamo preso una tagliatella al tartufo, una zuppa di lenticchie ed una porzione di verdure in padella, tutto davvero genuino. Il personale attento e gentile, da ritornarci!

07/01/2025: The structure, although dated, is in excellent condition, equipped with a lift, the staff are friendly and kind, full of advice and directions, the food is excellent and the prices are low. The property is located in a very quiet area and you can enjoy peace and serenity, well connected by an excellent road.
22/12/2024: I went there today with my group for the archery competition. We only ate a quick pizza, but we found courtesy, professionalism and a lot of kindness. The building is positioned in the midst of so much nature that it takes your breath away. I'll be back for lunch or dinner, I'll definitely change the review later.

10/11/2024: We too, attracted by the latest reviews, set out on the trail of the Grinch. We were hoping for an encounter with the mythological figure, but nothing, to receive an individual with a beard and hair, but unfortunately they were not green, but black. Jokes aside, we can only compliment you on the excellent welcome and cleanliness. Comfortable rooms with a splendid view of the valley with a breathtaking sunset (we had requested a panoramic room for which we paid a supplement in addition to the Smartbox box). Breakfast with many delicious homemade desserts; their hazelnut biscuits are unparalleled, so much so that we asked for the recipe. Until next visit......always looking for the Grinch
31/10/2024: Veniamo spesso in Umbria, ma questa volta siamo partiti all'ultimo momento e non abbiamo avuto il tempo di organizzarci per la cena...ma per caso ci siamo imbattuti in questo ristorante, abbiamo deciso di provarlo e siamo rimasti davvero sorpresi e soddisfatti dall'elevata qualità della cucina e dalla cortesia del personale (in particolare abbiamo apprezzato l'ironia "anglosassone" di Gabriele e la calorosa simpatia di Elio). Dopo oltre venti anni che veniamo in Umbria, abbiamo mangiato gli gnocchi al sagrantino più buoni proprio in questo ristorante: si vede subito che sono fatti in casa, ognuno è diverso dall'altro, fantastica è la consistenza perché quando si mordono sono compatti ma poi un attimo dopo si sciolgono al palato...fantastici! Buono l'antipasto, tagliere di prodotti tipici locali, ognuno dei quali ha un sapore intenso ed unico. Buono anche il vino della casa, così come i contorni. Non abbiamo avuto la possibilità di provare altro (le porzioni sono anche abbondanti), ma i dolci sembravano piuttosto interessanti. Consigliatissimo!
