We went to eat at the grottino on Sunday evening, I was expecting traditional Tuscan cuisine without too many frills and so it was. The pappardelle with Chianina ragout is good, the livers are excellent and the tiramisu is also very good.
On the complaints about prices I say: it's true
that on the show the restaurant was very cheap, but I remember that 5/6 years have passed and prices have increased for everyone, maybe some think that people work for free.

Il 27 aprile abbiamo pranzato all'Osteria Il Grottino di Arezzo e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti!
Abbiamo iniziato con una serie di crostini ai fegatini davvero gustosi, poi abbiamo proseguito con delle ottime pappardelle al ragù di Chianina e dei tagliolini alla carbonara con tartufo, semplicemente deliziosi.
Tutto buono, ben preparato e servito con cortesia. Complimenti allo staff! Consigliato a chi vuole gustare i sapori autentici della cucina toscana.

First time in Arezzo... walking through the streets of the center we came across this tavern... pure chance... it immediately inspired us... small place, but very intimate and welcoming... for the first time I ate the ribollita... really good... and the pacheri with bacon, buffalo burrata, truffle and pistachio... all served with courtesy, kindness and friendliness... normal prices.

We were here with my parents, it is a typical Tuscan restaurant, the service is very attentive and courteous. Despite the small space inside it is a welcoming restaurant. The typical dishes respect tradition

The place, the food and the hospitality are certainly genuine and typical of the Arezzo area. However, a price that does not correspond to the good food is out of place. It's home cooking, grandma's recipes... but for those prices, you can eat better and/or more. I don't recommend it and I'm sorry.

Small but welcoming place with traditional Tuscan cuisine. I had some doubts about the freshness of some dishes which seemed to me to be reheated and not freshly prepared... in my opinion the service needed to be improved, they were kind to us but towards other customers they seemed a little annoyed. The bill was certainly EXCESSIVE for the quality/quantity of the dishes...

delicious place in the center of Arezzo where you can taste traditional Tuscan dishes while drinking even better. excellent value for money considering the goodness of the raw materials. I tasted the hot croutons, the ribollita and the livers with generous portions. better to book a restaurant that is very popular with tourists
