Comfortable environment, very friendly staff, super fast service and absurd prices! 3 starters, 4 second courses and a first course + 4 desserts. Only €30 per person.

Second experience in this Osteria where the quality of the ingredients is the strong point.
So starting from a positive thing we come to the sore points.
I've been to this restaurant twice and twice out of two they ran out of baked potatoes. I may be unlucky but I don't understand how a popular side dish which is also omnipresent in all the online photos of the place is always sold out an hour after the start of service.
Same goes for the Cheesecake, that too is finished.
Another problem is the service. Having entered at 12.45 we order 4 first courses and the course arrives at 1.30.
At around 1.45pm we ask for 2 seconds and the course arrives at 2.30pm. I can realize that I'm not in a fastfood restaurant, for me 2 and a half hours for 2 courses is definitely too much. Your imagination is running out a little.
For those who love spending hours at the table chatting, it could also be the right place.
Last note, in one of the first courses the type of pasta ordered was wrong and in my opinion two of the four first courses were bordering on "overcooked".
Excellent ingredients and flavors and a special praise for the meat.
Unfortunately for me it's not enough, a closed experience.

Sabato 16 marzo in compagnia di altra coppia di amici e della nostra cagnolina, , siamo stati in questa osteria a cena. Accolti dal proprietario che ci ha delucidato su tutti i prodotti e le pietanze con dovizia di particolare, non possiamo che dire di aver mangiato benissimo e che tutte le materie prime sono di altissima qualità.Abbiamo iniziato con un super tagliere con due antipasti, il 1’ con salumi e formaggi del luogo, ricottine con composta di fichi, il
2’ battuta di Angus, carne essiccata e salata di angus e 2 burratine affumicate. Non abbiamo scelto i primi ma 2 stinchi di maiale cotto espresso con patate al forno e 2 tagliate di manzo, 1 ai funghi porcini e l’altra al rosmarino e olio.; 2 scarole alla napoletana e 4 magistrali dolci (3 babà savaren e 1 cerasella.)
Dolci provenienti da San Giuseppe vesuviano
(Na) Pasticceria Marigliano,
una bottiglia di sagrantino Moretti Amedeo 2018, 15 gradi, 4 vermut di Syrah e 2 caffè. Tutto intorno a 40 euro a testa.
Personale gentilissimo, nessuna attesa, ambiente familiare e accoglienza meravigliosa per la cagnolina.
Ci torneremo sicuramente

We returned because of the beautiful memories we had after an experience a couple of years ago. We really liked the place, excellent food (unfortunately there were no baked potatoes) friendly and welcoming staff. The place isn't beautiful inside (a little damp, the bathroom especially full of mould) but honestly it doesn't suit me very well for an out-of-town place.
We returned today. Always excellent food but even though we arrived at opening time (12.30pm) it took them 2 hours and 15 minutes for 2 courses...4 first courses and 2 second courses to share. And the baked potatoes were finished this time too (I believe you... if the second course arrives after an hour and 40 minutes).
Honestly, I always feel sorry when I have to leave so-so reviews, especially if I understand that the problem is not intentional but is simply a matter of disorganization. But as far as I'm concerned, sitting for 2 and a half hours for 2 dishes is torture, it doesn't even happen at weddings and organization is still a fundamental factor when managing a restaurant. It's a shame because everything is good, the meat in particular is excellent.

Everything was delicious. Top quality meats. Pasta was super as well. The service was great. We will be back to taste more dishes from their interesting menu for sure!
