Osteria Il Governo 1801 In Lezzeno

Great food, friendly service, wonderfully shady in the summer, a unique but cramped location. Prices are reasonable, but parking is a problem.

An amazing place run by the 7th generation of a family of hoteliers, people passionate about their profession and serving their customers. Ask to eat in the basement room, you are in a croto.... The cuisine is refined, I recommend the lobster ravioli and the pistachio among others... The staff is very welcoming, this place is really a nice surprise, I recommend it.

Everything was delicious and the owners were very, very kind. Thank you!!!! We'll be back.

Very disappointed with this restaurant. Expensive for what's on the plate. Tiramisu very bland. Lack of lighting outside when night falls early. I wouldn't recommend it.

Exceptional Service! We stayed in Lezzeno, Lake Como, this September, and that village is very small, with very few restaurants - note to people who are going to stay there - there is not much there, lol! BUT, we stumbled on a small Osteria and this was it. The food was so good, and the after-dinner aperitif was to die for. The owner was very knowledgeable and so welcoming, I would go back if it wasn't our last night in that region. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you are ever in Lezzeno. It might not look like much, but you will not be disappointed.

(from germany) We had such a great dinner at this place - service, atmosphere and the quality of the dishes and ingredients have been outstanding. We are vegetarians and received thoughtful advice on our selection. We‘d love to come back one day!

This review refers to our visit on October 31, 2021. We took a short trip from Milan to Bellagio and thought it would be cool to take the boat to Como. However, it would be too late, so my wife and I got off in Lezzeno and planned to wait for the next boat to Bellagio. In the meantime, we wanted to grab something to eat to pass the time. So we discovered Osteria il Governo. Although the restaurant was closed on a rainy, gray, and dark evening, the waitress was happy to welcome us. She offered us red wine and snacks as an aperitif, as the kitchen was already closed at that time, but everything was absolutely delicious! We discovered this little town and osteria by pure chance, and now we would love to go there again! Thank you for the great service.

Este lugar es espectacular! En primer lugar te sientes como si hubieras sido transportado en el tiempo a una era mágica. El propietario saluda a todos para explicar todos los platos. La pasta de pistacho es la mejor pasta que he comido y he estado en Italia muchas veces. Cada plato está hecho con amor y esta fue nuestra mejor comida en el lago Come de lejos. El carpaccio de trucha se nos metió en la boca. Asegúrese de reservar con antelación porque no puede entrar sin una reserva.

À faire absolument !!! Le maître d’hôtel est juste génial et les serveurs très attentionnés. Les plats sont préparés avec raffinement à partir de produits sublime… un pur délice et une grande expérience. Les vins que nous avons pris n’étaient pas en reste, très bien conseillés par notre maître d’hôtel. Pour moi le rapport qualité prix amplement justifié. Laissez vous guider!
