A very pleasant place and excellent cuisine. A great address behind the DUOMO.

I ate here with friends for lunch twice and dinner once while touring Siena. The food was excellent. For lunch the second time we had the Crostini with Anchovies, Pesto and Burrata Stracciatella ( (Toasted Bread With Anchovies In Parsley Pesto Sauce And Stracciatella Cheese), Tartare di Manzo (Beef Tartare, Chives, and Sweet Paprika Mayonnaise) , and Pici All’ Aglione della Valdichiana e Briciole (Homemade Tuscan Pasta with Garlic, Tomato Sauce and Brean Crumbs) for lunch. the main courses we enjoyed for dinner were: Ossobuco alla Senese, Controfiletto Di Manzo E Cipolla Caramellata (Sliced Beef Sirloin, Caramelized Onions,) and Controfiletto Di Manzo, Olio E Rosmarino (Sliced Beef Sirloin, Oil And Rosemary.) Our sides were Patate al Forno (oven roasted potatoes), Spinaci Saltati (slated spinach). The food, expertly prepared (my complements to the chefs from a fellow chef), the service very friendly, helpful and professional, and the atmosphere of this restaurant could not be beat.

For lunch you should make reservations since the space inside is limitted on just a couple of tabels. Service was very kind and ready to hepl. Zucchini flower was perfectly made...

I rarely send my compliments to the chef, this time I did. As an Italian this is how I expect food to be prepared! We had a lunch with three kids, everyone ate with great satisfaction

A restaurant where the locals meet, where a bachelor party is celebrated or where people simply meet. This is how we experienced the Ghibellino. The food was great, the service was quick and easy. The portions were large and you were really full. Simply recommended.

We ate a plate of pappardelle with white Chianina PGI ragù which was really excellent, but the portion wasn't that generous. The beef sirloin with caramelized onion was good. However, I recommend the first one much more. The waitress is very attentive to the customer. Little vegan choice.

With friends for the cycling race we opted for this tavern a stone's throw from Piazza del Campo...well-kept place and friendly and professional table service...excellent pici and also the sliced ​​fillet with rosemary, all wet from a red from the Sienese hills... honest final price to RETURN!!
