A delicious gluten-free restaurant in the heart of Siena.
We had beef tartare (gluten-free) as an appetizer to share and pici carbonara (also gluten-free).
For dessert, the cheesecake by the glass was also delicious.
The staff was super friendly, attentive, and available to meet all our needs.
Highly recommended.

Always a pleasure to come to il ghibellino when i visit Siena. The staff is so kind and the options for celiacs are amazing. Fresh gluten free bread, amazing pasta and malfatti, and the dessert list was so long with tons of fresh things to choose from. I ended up getting the malfatti burro e salvia with the cheesecake basca for dessert… all incredible. Once again, thank you for an amazing meal and we will see each other the next time im back!

Pleasant lunch, friendly staff. Gluten-free options are much appreciated, and there are many options available.

The food is delicious, the service is pretty good, but if 2 people eat for almost 100 euros and they throw them out after they've eaten and haven't drunk their wine yet, that's really bad. So, you have to eat and drink quickly here....you'd have to leave the place later...Unfortunately, it's a shame!

Pure spectacle. We chose it by chance, but we didn't regret it at all: affordable, beautiful, tasty, and the portions are generous.
I think I'll dream about these first courses and the tiramisu tonight. Everything was spectacular.

A small, welcoming place, well-run by the staff. They offer a wide range of gluten-free and gluten-free options. We had two plates of pici, one of which was gluten-free, and an ossobuco. Both were truly delicious. I highly recommend it!

Coeliac here -- a lot of the menu is gluten free here, but there's still a risk of cross contamination so keep that in mind.
They brought some gluten free bread at the start -- it was warm, though was not freshly made. Crispy on the outside but dry inside. Recommend dousing with oil and salt.
I had the sirloin steak with butter and thyme. It's a large amount of meat, with nothing else on the plate. I enjoyed the first 70% of it.
I had some potatoes on the side which were nice, although I do feel they should have come with the steak.
For dessert, I had the cheesecake with strawberry jam. This was light cream in a glass with some kind of fine nut crumble in the bottom and jam on top. Not a cheesecake in my book, but still nice.
I also sampled the tiramisu, which was very light and creamy.
We were late to lunch and this was the only place with gluten free options that I found open past 14.00.
The pasta looked good and I do believe they can make them with gluten free pasta for a surcharge.
