A gem in the heart of Siena, perfect for celiacs and all ages. The atmosphere is quiet and welcoming, perfect for any occasion. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The food is excellent; the gluten-free pici were sensational, and the malfatti were truly amazing. Highly recommended!

This restaurant is just steps from Piazza del Campo, so it might seem very touristy, but it's not. The interior isn't particularly large, so I recommend booking before venturing in. The crostini with lampredotto and salsa verde is delicious, and the sirloin is very tender. Service is prompt, and prices are fair.

Historic restaurant in the center of Siena, beneath the Duomo. Excellent service, as were the dishes, all delicious and generously portioned. Excellent wine list. Definitely recommended for an evening with friends or even a dinner for two!

The BEST carbonara we have tasted! 3 out of a group of 6 got the carbonara here and all said it was the best they had tasted. It’s a lovely restaurant not far from the cathedral. Reasonable prices and good food - but the carbonara is what gave it 5 starts!

A very quaint place, right in the center, with delicious traditional Tuscan first courses and desserts. We were very pleased with their efficient service.

Oh, go. When a place is just steps from the Duomo, you immediately think it's a trap for foreigners. Yet, I've been back several times, and I can admit they know what they're doing. The first courses are hearty, with some pici that arrive piping hot and perfectly seasoned. And I'll tell you, even with dishes that many people think are fooling, like fried brain, they don't miss a beat here: crispy, dry, a delight that reconciles you with the world. The people serving you are quick and polite, and the atmosphere is just right, like a real osteria without all the frills. Sure, the bill is like in the historic center, but at least you leave there full and happy, and your money was well spent. Honest stuff. A real safe bet. Really good.
