A refined restaurant, meticulously maintained in both form and substance. Interesting dishes, expertly prepared. Impeccable service, reasonable bill. Well done, we'll be back.

Incredible discovery, wonderful location in the center of Panicale. Mis en Place with well-kept Deruta ceramics. Impeccable service and with great care. Excellent entrée, high quality bread and different varieties. Refined oil tasting, DEVASTATING appetizers and fresh pasta. Wide selection of Umbrian wines, and more. To return again and again

The location is enchanting to say the least: the little square of Panicale is a wonderful setting for a dinner that turned out to be exceptional! The mise en place is very well-kept with truly beautiful plates and dishes! The dinner took place with pleasant times between one course and the next and each of these struck us so much for the refined, intense, but always balanced flavors, as well as for the presentation rich in shapes and colors. The pigeon with black cherries is memorable. Lorena and Simone know how to make you spend a special evening!

We loved this restaurant so much that we dined there twice while spending a week in Panicale. Simone and Chef Lorena are wonderful, and the food is absolutely amazing. When we returned home from an entire month in Italy, we listed Osteria Il Gallo Nel Pozzo in our top five restaurants we dined at over the seven regions we visited. Panicale is a very special place, and this restaurant is special also.

Nella suggestiva piazza centrale di Panicale abbiamo pranzato all'aperto ad un tavolo arredato con semplice cura . Il cibo era di qualità e presentato con elegante impiattamento. Abbiamo apprezzato l'ospitalità del proprietario che ci ha accolto parlandoci del suo amore per il territorio. Le pietanze realizzate con prodotti a km zero erano squisite. Porteremo con noi il ricordo di questa piacevole esperienza.

Il locale è una piccola gemma nel cuore di Panicale, un borgo delizioso nel cuore dell’Umbria. Ci siamo capitati per caso ed abbiamo trovato una vera sorpresa. Servizio attento e professionale e cibo preparato tutto al momento con ingredienti freschissimi e di alta qualità. Si sente un’influenza siciliana nell’uso dei pistacchi di Bronte in diversi piatti offerti dal menù. La dimensione del locale e i pochi (relativamente) tavoli garantiscono l’attenzione ai dettagli ed alla qualità. Torneremo a Panicale solo per questo ristorante.

20/08/2025: Located on the edge of Foligno's historic center, strategically located so you don't enter the restricted traffic zone (ZTL), yet a 10-minute walk to the city center and a 5-minute drive to the main road junctions for other towns. Pet-friendly hotel, with final sanitization for €10. Quiet and well-insulated rooms. Elevator to upper rooms. Excellent restaurant serving Umbrian dishes. Every area is immaculately clean, from the rooms to the reception, from the breakfast room to the TV room. Extremely friendly and professional staff in every area. Public paid parking is available on the adjacent street, with a maximum rate of €6.15 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, then free. The building and rooms are classically designed, yet functional. Bathrooms have a bidet and generously sized shower. Breakfast offers a wide variety of pastries, yogurt, juices, coffee, hard-boiled eggs, ham, cheese, bread, and more. In front of the hotel, in addition to the public parking, you can stroll along the walls of the historic center alongside the river. Highly recommended.
