Off the beaten path in Ferrara but worth a detour. All the plates were properly done and delicious. I particularly recommend the “Sformatino di Zucca”

Questo locale è davvero un’ottima scoperta. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, l’oste molto preparato e gentile come anche la ragazza che serve ai tavoli. Tortino di zucca e bruschette con il pomodoro molto buono, strozzapreti alla rapa rossa con speck e porcini delicati e buoni, guancia con polenta squisita. Ottima proposta di vini. Ci torno molto volentieri

I went for dinner last night. Everything perfect. From the hospitality and professionalism of the owner to the tasty and genuine dishes. Cappellacci with pumpkin, as divine as the large rib-eye for two. Typical environment with the right lighting which makes it pleasant and relaxing.

Mi fermo per pranzo nell pausa lavoro in questa osteria a pochi metri dal centro di Ferrara.si presente bene, bella, ordinata e attinente al nome che porta, menù semplice ma completo servizio gentile e puntuale, piatti assortiti e ben preparati. Ho trovato solo gli antipasti di formaggio, crudo e lardo con porzioni decisamente scarse, anche se l abbiamo diviso in due non sarebbe stato sufficiente per una persona. Filetto di pesce rombo gratinato invece ben cucinato e porzione giusta

Happened by chance, having little time we were worried about the timing but the staff or rather the owner understood immediately and worked to not make us wait. An excellent second course of first courses, a delicious San Giovese and a spectacular dessert. For
to conclude the coffee... (which now it is difficult to drink even in many bars) was very good. Congratulations indeed!
