Fantastic restaurant. We had lunch in the small room with the view and the stove on a Saturday in February. The view was breathtaking, the service was fast, impeccable, courteous, and attentive. The food was delicious and the prices were fair. Thanks to Michele and Jessica for the wonderful experience in this truly enchanting place. We'll definitely be back.

Chiosco nel Bosco is a beautiful little restaurant, perched above Casoli. Friendly staff, good food, fair prices. The chubby cat is wonderful. The house specialty is tordelli lucchesi. This time I had the cod with leeks: absolutely delicious! It was baked, not fried, not soaked in oil...in short, absolutely delicious!

13/03/2026: I stopped here for lunch in Lucca. I had a Panino Parmense (ham, mascarpone, gorgonzola, and walnuts) along with a cecina (a type of pasta), French fries, and water. The quality of the ingredients is good, and the sandwich is tasty. The final bill of €19 is consistent with the quality of the food.
04/03/2026: Lucca city center and aperitif at a great price. Decent quantities. Recommended.

21/11/2025: Exceptional experience, we went for dinner. The food was excellent. We chose classic pasta dishes like tordelli with ragù for starters, which were delicious; and something different, like paccheri with sausage and goat cheese, which were also delicious. But there were many other dishes on the menu. The main courses were all very good, too: fried lamb cutlets, fried chicken and rabbit, and the beef tartare; side dishes included fried artichokes, chips, and a pioppini mushroom and potato flan. For dessert, we had warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream, peach sorbet, and crème brûlée... all delicious. Generous portions, kind, friendly, and attentive staff... a family atmosphere. ...It was a lovely evening, definitely worth repeating! I highly recommend it!
