Osteria on the hill that amazes me every time, the entire menu is gluten-free because only naturally gluten-free flours are used. Much attention is paid to the quality and valorisation of the territory, the fried tortelli and the gross sfoja deserve a special mention, not to mention the tiramisu!

As usual, due to celiac disease, we were looking for a place where we could stop and taste something tasty and typical of the Forlì hinterland. While navigating around the destination, this Osteria caught my eye. Naturally, it was an opportunity to take a walk in the small village of Dovadola and have an aperitif in the main square, which allowed us to have a pleasant chat with the locals.
Arriving at the place at lunchtime, a five-minute drive from the centre, we were surprised first of all by the panorama all around, being positioned higher up than the town and, immediately afterwards, by the tavern itself, very well looked after inside . In our case however, we preferred to take advantage of the beautiful day to eat in the outdoor area, having umbrellas as cover. Initially I thought they "also" cooked GF dishes, but instead I discovered on site that they "only" cook GF dishes. Fantastic! My wife (the celiac) was very happy and, I won't deny it, so was I, since we were able to eat without any kind of stress-caution.
As if that wasn't enough, the dishes ordered were all excellent! And, above all, tasting fresh bread is something indescribable (as you are often used to crackers or breadsticks)!
The staff is friendly and the service fast.
An experience definitely worth trying again and one that I recommend "everyone" to do. Yes, because, done this way, without sacrifices, it is the best you could ask for.
By the way: if you want you can book and buy bread and piadina.

Cozy place with young and very friendly staff. We had lunch with curzul with ragù (typical fresh pasta from Romagna) then we continued with a cut and a sausage and a side dish of grilled vegetables and chips. Very tender meat with perfect cooking, the sausage is truly delicious. Generous portions and well presented. Price more than fair for the quality of the raw materials used. Advised.

Delightful place on the Forlì hills. Furnished with care but simplicity. Very friendly and helpful staff. Fast and precise service. First courses strictly homemade. The meat is as tender as butter. The fried porcini mushrooms are excellent. I want to point out that everything is gluten free. Lunch was accompanied by the sweet presence of their kitten Lilli. I must say that I enjoyed lunch even more. The chocolate tenerina with cream is excellent. It was an excellent lunch, without any flaws. As Bruno Barbieri says, lunch is worth the trip! More than honest prices and excellent treated raw materials. Well done guys! Keep it up! See you soon !

A dream, the location is amazing, an old stone house very well prepared, with a beautiful view of the mountains over the valley, super friendly, and the food is so delicious, real Italian food. We were the only tourists and all the Italians around us and the hosts were so nice. Now I know what the Italian dolce vita is. Thanks

Splendid mid-August evening spent at the Il Casetto tavern. Delightful location immersed in the silence of nature, cheerful, efficient, helpful and friendly staff. Excellent service, excellent food from starters to dessert. Good value for money. Highly recommended
