Located in the center of San Giorgio a Colonica, there's ample free parking near the restaurant, but parking is often difficult.
The food is traditional Tuscan, but presented in an elegant and refined way. The flavors are excellent and the ingredients are top-notch.
I returned to this restaurant after many years. It used to have a delicious dessert buffet, but now they offer small pastries, very good, at one euro a piece (I preferred the old formula).
The staff is very friendly and quick with their service.

I wanted to try the fried tripe, and it was truly spectacular.
But for an appetizer, they brought us a terrine of chicken livers coated in chocolate and topped with pear and rum jelly (if I'm not mistaken). It was fabulous!
For dessert, there were some miniatures. You can choose whatever you want and in whatever quantity you want, a really interesting option.

Really satisfied, the food and service were excellent, and the desserts were incredible. The Tuscan cuisine was exquisitely prepared, and the service was fast, attentive, and very friendly. Well done, we'll be back.

If you want "old-fashioned" food, this is the place to go. I had fried tripe, which was accompanied by a salsa verde and another tomato and vinegar sauce, which was really good. Then fried brain, crispy on the outside and incredibly tender on the inside, which melted in your mouth...
First, they brought me a chocolate praline filled with chicken livers: the contrast between the chocolate, which was cold from the fridge on the outside, and the softness and melt-in-your-mouth quality of the livers was truly interesting.
The coffee at the end, with regular and brown sugar on the side (true!!!!), was in separate containers.
I drink my coffee bitter.
But I still ate a spoonful of brown sugar, which had that licorice flavor... Wow...
There were several other interesting things on the menu, so I'll definitely be back.
