Excellent cuisine with a good selection of wines. The place is quiet and welcoming, and the staff is highly professional. We had pasta dishes, but the meat dishes are definitely their strong point; I rarely see tartare prepared tableside in front of the customer! If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely return.

We returned with great pleasure to Osteria Il Bivio after a first visit that had won us over. And this time too the experience was superb. Welcoming atmosphere with very original mise en place and a cuisine that confirms its excellence. The carefully selected cold cuts and cheeses are a perfect start, but the real star is always her: the tartare. Sliced ​​and beaten on the spot directly at the table by very skilled hands, with very soft and tasty meat, enhanced by ingredients chosen with balance and mastery. The sautéed vegetables, reinterpreted in an original way by the chef, and the crispy baked potatoes are side dishes that deserve a standing ovation. All accompanied by a wine selected from their cellar, truly interesting and well-stocked. A true gourmet experience, in a place that combines taste, quality and passion. Absolutely recommended!

05/11/2025: Tonight I'm going to make you laugh... On our way to dinner, they ask me how the food is at Motta (let me start by saying I've already been there and know the food is excellent), so I come here on Google to read the reviews. I have a blast reading the reviews in response to those idiots who give it one star and then comment with crazy bullshit... I say there's no way you can't have a bad experience: the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Yet we bother them by asking questions about the menu at least four times, and we never get an inappropriate answer (and yet we're not alone in the restaurant; there are several customers, and they have their own things to do). Once we've ordered (while sipping a prosecco), the dishes arrive: first, a second serving of tartare accompanied by tagliatelle with wild boar (both excellent), then we have a fritto dell'aia and a peposo (what can I say, perfect). The funny thing is, we struggle to finish dinner due to the large portions. I'm attaching photos of the dishes because I can't describe how delicious they are... Oh, do you want to know the price? I haven't paid yet, I'm not running away, it's just that when you're enjoying yourself at the table, you shouldn't look at the bill... What can I say? Lots of kisses to everyone, and come try it... Then let me know...

01/12/2025: Back for the third time, an impeccable evening as always. The menu was carefully curated, the service was quick and efficient despite there being 11 of us on a Saturday night. The dishes were excellent, as were the homemade desserts. The price was definitely fair considering the meat.
14/10/2025: We had the Rosticciana alla Griglia con patate fritte and the Grigliata Mista, along with Verdure miste al forno and two glasses of local Chianti — one from the immediate area. Every bite was succulent and perfectly cooked. The meats were grilled to order, full of flavour, and the vegetables beautifully roasted. Service was relaxed and friendly, and sitting in the glorious sunshine in the little piazza made it even better. A place to slow down, sip some wine, and savour genuine Tuscan cooking.
