Osteria Il Bibbio In Capolona

Wow, what a great find! We stumbled upon this restaurant because it was very close to the agriturismo where we were staying. I found the phone # here and was able to make a resy via WhatsApp (the night before we had been turned away as they were totally full). We ordered the pesto pasta, the lemon chicken, and a side of green beans and shared. Simply delicious! Something told us we should splurge and have the homemade Tiramisu. Our instincts were spot on! It was the best Tiramisu we have ever had! We enjoyed the meal so much we can back the next day for lunch! This time I had the pici with pork ragu and my wife had the lasagna. Each was fantastic! And of course we had to have the Tiramisu (again). Did I mention how gracious the owner is? Five stars all around. The little town of Bibbiano is very lucky to have this restaurant. Reservations recommended.

We went to dinner last night with a friend from Siena. We were so pleased, everything tasted great, the desserts were delicious, like the rabbit, the pici cacio e pepe (a type of pasta made with cheese and pepper, which not everyone knows how to make), and everything else. The owners are wonderful, friendly, and helpful. If you go eat at Bibbio, you won't regret it. See you next year!!!!!!

We have enjoyed restaurants all over Tuscany. Clearly the standard is high. I write this review to recognize not only the exceptional food, but a menu that offers not only the staples, but few fun surprises. The art and classical dinner music only furthered this incredible experience. The staff was also notable amongst restaurants known for great service. I can’t recommend dinner here more highly and we will return.

We returned after meeting him last year. A sure confirmation. Carefully prepared dishes, well presented, typical and not, but always excellent. Marcello is always delicious, romantic atmosphere and honest prices. Highly recommended

This is the second year that we return to Vescovado di Murlo with the bikes to do some healthy pedaling and dinner at Bibbio is the worthy conclusion of every beautiful day. Very pleasant to dine outside on warm evenings when a little breeze blows. Maria Pia is an excellent cook and Marcello will always be able to advise you. Go there!

The place is amazing, the food even better and the service excellent. It’s so nice, very friendly. The evening there is stunning. Truly a hidden gem.

We were here for dinner during the week. It wasn't very busy, but a few people came in the evening with reservations. We didn't have a reservation and were seated freely. The service is perfect! The waitress was very attentive, friendly, and despite the stress (we were alone), she always had a smile on her face! We had the puff pastry turnover with asparagus for starters - 5/5 ⭐. For the main course, the wild boar ragù, also very tasty. The tiramisu is homemade and also 5/5 ⭐. We felt very comfortable. Thank you!
