Polenta and cuttlefish is a truly delicious dish. The place is recommended, even if the prices are slightly too high for an osteria.

Fantastic, quaint restaurant with amazing service from Anita and Rico. Incredible wine and pasta- very authentic Italian! One of our party is a coeliac and it was the best meal he has had since his diagnosis.

🍷 Osteria Il Bertoldo – An authentic corner in the heart of Verona
Small, intimate, and welcoming: Il Bertoldo is one of those osterias that seem to be made to feel at home even when you're away from home. The restaurant is cozy, with a warm atmosphere and attention to detail, featuring wood, rustic walls, and soft lighting.
The cuisine is Veronese and seasonal, with simple dishes made with passion. The staff is friendly, attentive, but never intrusive. You don't just come to eat: you come to feel good.
The wine selection and desserts are also excellent. Recommended for a quiet dinner, perhaps after touring the city. Here, time slows down... and the flavors linger.

Osteria Il Bertoldo is a restaurant with Italian
cuisine, specializing in traditional Veronese and northern Italian
dishes.
The quality of the food is excellent, with elaborate and tasty dishes. The average price is moderate, around 40-50 euros per person for a 3-4 course menu. The service is kind and professional, with attentive and helpful staff. The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming, with traditional decoration and a
relaxed environment also thanks to the low number of seats served by only 2 waiters.
The only flaw was that the tables were very close to each other.
Exquisite food, we tried a trio of polenta, pappardelle with duck, guanciale with Amarone, tiramisu and cheesecake! (See photo)

Posticino che ha il suo fascino, scoperto girando le vie del centro.
Consiglio:
- Antipasto: Tagliere misto (affettati di ottima scelta e abbinamento mostarda e formaggi delizioso)
- Primo: Risotto all'Amarone super
Servizio ottimo, ragazzo in sala sempre attento e professionale.

Una cena incantevole nel cuore di Verona, in una location intima e allo stesso tempo accogliente. Ogni parola è superflua rispetto alla squisitezza del personale e degli ingredienti nei piatti. Tutto davvero eccellente: dalla gentilezza appena entrati, alla bontà delle pietanze che abbiamo scelto. Prodotti originali e accostamenti sensazionali.
Inoltre, camerieri gentilissimi sui consigli per la visita della città.
