Osteria Il Bertoldo In Verona

We had dinner at this tavern and were pleasantly surprised. Excellent dishes, evocative, well-kept and welcoming environment, super friendly and helpful waiter. Special mention for the octopus cappuccino: exceptional! We spent €45 each (a shared starter, first course, dessert, coffee and bottle of wine). If we were to return to Verona we will definitely stop here

Today we had the pleasure of eating at this place. Starting with the place, it is cozy and quiet, the very attentive staff made us feel at ease, for lunch we ordered octopus (house specialty), pasta with sausage and truffle, pasta with seafood and for dessert Sicilian cannolo, I can only say that everything was spectacular. I recommend it 100%! We will return!

the place has many tables in a small space, it's a bit cramped. This does not take away from the fact that the food (and drink) is excellent and the staff is very kind and friendly, I had a very good time. Being in the "second round" some dishes and wines were finished, too bad. I highly recommend the tagliatelle with burrata, sausage and truffle because they are superb.

Excellent restaurant in the heart of Verona. Warm and refined atmosphere. Very very kind, friendly and helpful staff.

We ate here for our last dinner in Verona and it was the best meal we had in this city! As a first course we had risotto with amarone. Exceptional! For second we had the boiled meat. This was also excellent and was served with three sauces: pearà, green sauce and horseradish sauce. The cuts of meat were beef, cotechino and tongue. To finish, the three chocolate cheesecake. This one is also super. The base instead of the usual biscuit was made with a thin layer of chocolate. The filling part is very creamy, soft and light. As an accompaniment we had an Amarone by the glass. Very good everything. The service in the room was very kind and attentive. The place is also very nice and characteristic. If we return to Verona we will certainly be happy to return.

This tavern was a discovery! We went for lunch and had a delicious meal! I have celiac disease and they have practically the entire menu in a Gluten free version, even fresh bread and they serve it hot! Exquisite food especially the beef cheek with polenta which was recommended to us and luckily we trusted it because it was spectacular! even the desserts are no different, everything is really good! The staff has unparalleled courtesy and kindness! We loved it and will definitely be back!

Service was very good and friendly, English speaking which helped too. The food was delicious as was delicious. Would go back!

Io e la mia fidanzata ci siamo trovati molto bene in questa Osteria. Abbiamo mangiato egregiamente ed il personale non sarebbe potuto essere più professionale e preparato. Ci hanno consigliato un ottimo vino per accompagnare la nostra cena. Sicuramente sarà la mia prima scelta in una futura cena a Verona.
