We visited this place twice during our stay in Florence and had phenomenal experience. We tried pasta, gnocci, pizza and lasagna. Everything was fresh and delicious. They have 5 euro hugo spritz. The service was great as well - Stiliano is a very attentive server and a great conversationalist. Will dine here again when we return to Florence.

Everything about this place was wonderful! The food, the drinks, the service and the desserts were all excellent. My husband ordered the lasagna, and I had the cheese ravioli in tomato sauce. Both dishes were absolutely fantastic! We also enjoyed our favorite Hugo Spritz, which was only €5.50. Great food, great prices, and a lovely atmosphere. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this place!

Fantastic food, delicious, friendly staff. We had the saffron risotto with zucchini flowers and truffle. The beans were delicious too. And since we're from Venice, we drank the best Spritz ever (and we drink Spritz every day, hahaha). Everything was perfect. I absolutely recommend it.

A really delicious T-bone steak. Since there was a 750g option, I was able to eat it without too much shock even though I'm a student. I highly recommend it!!! As expected, the tenderloin part is tasty.

WoW!!! We have a wonderful time there. The waiter who served us was very talkative and polite. Felt very guilty rn that we did not ask his name while typing this. He is Not the American type that showcase for tips ( however we did tipped him lol) He just all playfulness while politely doing everything. He is definitely the best 👍 For the meal, this is the best truffle pasta I have ever had in my entire life. Incredibly delicious. The mushroom risotto is a must-order too. 1 kg steak is more than enough for 2 ppl. We were literally so full and start tripping at the end.

Osteria il Basilico – Excellent Pasta, Personal Touch We returned here for dinner after trying their pasta at the neighbouring Enoteca Nazionale — and it was worth it. The Pici Carbonara and meat lasagne were both excellent. Please note that we only ordered primi, so we cannot comment on the main courses. The owner was present and took personal care of his guests. The rest of the team seemed to be still finding their rhythm. We were seated at a table that wasn't fully set up. That alone wouldn't be an issue but they served our food and only because we asked they finally did the place setting. The atmosphere is warm and typically Italian — a solid, unpretentious place to enjoy a good meal. Not a fine dining experience, but it doesn't try to be. Prices are very fair and reflect very good value for the quality of the food. 4/5 — the kitchen is genuinely talented and the owner's personal dedication sets this place apart.
