20/04/2025: I went today (April 20, 2025, Easter Sunday) to the COLLE PACIOCCO farmhouse.
I went with some friends. We had a great time, not a great one! I had been here a few years ago, but I have to say that it is always a great place to eat. Great food! Beautiful location! The owner Francesco is very kind and helpful. I will definitely be back very soon. I highly recommend it!!!!
06/03/2025: Farmhouse that has little of the farm. 80s cuisine with fettuccine mushrooms and cream, tomato gnocchi that tasted of nothing so I asked for some cheese that was served to me on a plate with FORKS not even a coffee spoon but a FORK 🤣, Italian appetizer with low quality products especially the cooked ham that was the spalletta. Roast meat arista chewy, so I tried the chicken leg, but even that I have to say that I couldn't chew. To finish a pale imitation of tiramisu, it was not clear if the layer in the middle of a mountain of cream and mascarpone was sponge cake or something else. In short, rating 4.5
Not to mention the music, you can't organize a carnival Saturday and put on 60s/70s music at least they should have warned. In short, it's a place where probably the same people always go.
I am addressing the owners, catering is a serious business, you can't make do. I speak with experience after 30 years spent working in restaurants throughout Italy and Europe. I have worked in places in the suburbs where the quality was excellent but also in 5-star luxury hotels where paying 30 euros for a first course was not worth the expense.
I forgot. When I entered, the welcome was zero, I had to look for a waiter to tell me where my table was. In short, the basis of the profession is missing.
I am sorry to write these reviews but I have only told the truth. It is not about whether a dish can be liked or not, it is about being objective.
The only positive point was the waiter, a professional and very kind person, rating 8, in my opinion he could aspire to places more suited to his professionalism.
