Highly recommended osteria in San Gimignano! The staff is helpful and friendly, the pici with wild boar ragù and peposo are exceptional, not to mention the desserts! 😍

A casual yet welcoming place, clean, and friendly staff. Exceptional pici all'aglione, the wild boar version is also very good, and the ribollita is delicious. The special of the day, bruschettone with lard, honey, and almonds, is delicious. We'll definitely be back!

The food was okay, nothing amazing. The service wasn't very attentive. I found the sign they have in the bathroom quite threatening (I think there are other ways to say things...).

We easily got a table for two here today, the fourth Sunday of Advent, around lunchtime. We had a starter (cheese wrapped in bacon and speck), followed by pici with tomato sauce and rigatoni carbonara with truffles. Everything was delicious, and we were quite full. Cost: 30 euros per person.

Spectacular. The best restaurant in San Gimignano. Try the carbonara, the best I've ever had. The waitresses were very friendly. 100% recommended.

Un des meilleurs restaurants de notre périple en Toscane. Le village est magnifique et nous sommes allés dans ce restaurant grâce à TripAdvisor. La recette de lapin extra.et les autres choix également.je recommande

Zeer goede en heel vriendelijke bediening. Lekkere cocktails die hun geld zeker waard zijn (ongeveer €8 per cocktail). En natuurlijk lekker eten op een aangenaam terras, weg uit de drukte. Kleine tip: even wachten met eten te bestellen want het komt snel.

L'Angolo dello Sfizio

26/11/2025: A true old-school trattoria in the center of Asciano where substance is valued over aesthetics! It's actually called "the village restaurant." The pizza menu is truly extensive: red, white, calzone, pinsa; the meat dishes are also tempting. We shared a pappa con burrata, truly delicious and creamy. Then we tried a pinsa and a pizza: in my opinion, the pinsa dough was far superior, while my husband preferred the pizza with its nice thin crust, which is hard to find these days! We finished with cantucci and vinsanto, a classic you can never go wrong, and a tiramisu with cantucci and vinsanto, truly delicious, with just the right amount of alcohol, a good cream, and garnished with almonds and caramel! We drank three red beers on tap. I'm talking about a bill outside of any market, only €50!!! (I should point out that we had a small discount due to the agreement with our accommodation in the city) but even if it had been €10 more it would have been way below average these days!
20/11/2025: Humble, simple, friendly, good solid, inexpemsive food. Popular with locals.
