Ci siamo fermati a cena in questo ristorante, molto carino al centro di Ferrara. Personale gentile e disponibile, ottima cucina. Noi abbiamo provato un antipasto misto con affettati vari (buonissimi), le fettuccine al ragu ferrarese (ottime) e una fantastica lasagnetta. Buono anche il vino della casa. Prezzo corretto. Consigliatissimo!

Unfortunately the cappelletti and the broth would not be available until the next day and 2 desserts could not be ordered because they were in the oven, but the food was really very good

Good dishes but none of them "surprised" me and the salama was excessively salty and almost inedible, so much so that I never had the courage to try it again in the days I was in Ferrara. Essential service. Location next to the castle.

Locale esterno al locale al piano superiore in uso quando pieno all'interno. Tempi di attesa leggermente lunghi, ma ripagati da un ottimo tagliere, dei validissimi cappellacci alla zucca, e una buona tagliatella con un ragù veramente strong vecchia maniera. Prezzi nella norma e personale gentile. Pulizia dei locali da rivedere.

Historic Osteria in the square in front of the Estense Castle. The restaurant is not very large but it also has an outdoor terrace, I consider it one of the best restaurants to taste typical Ferrara dishes. The menu offers typical local dishes: from pinzini to cappellacci, to pasticcio and salama da sugo and so on. All very good with quality ingredients and prepared in an artisanal way, starting with the handmade pasta. The service is young and courteous, perhaps not too fast, but the prices are competitive and - sorry for the pun - it is not a given! In short, i Quattro Angeli is the right place to get to know or rediscover the flavors of Este cuisine.

Classic restaurant in the center of Ferrara with truly exquisite traditional dishes. Tried the tagliatelle with Ferrara ragù and the famous salama da sugo, finally an excellent dessert, what can I say really excellent, all tagliatelle cooked to perfection mixed with that excellent ragù da shoe, products of excellent quality and freshness, the salama da sugo excellent and cooked to perfection with excellent mashed potatoes side dish. Chantilly cream cake top. Truly all excellent, I recommend it to all families, couples and friends, you will not be disappointed.

19/09/2024: Great place, IMPECCABLE service!! A huge thank you to Gabriele who always welcomed us, served us with attention and speed even though it was the middle of August! Always with an attentive eye on the tables and available to find alternatives to satisfy the customer (my father-in-law wanted a fiordilatte ice cream with coffee but they didn't have ice cream and he brought him a coffee cream in a larger glass and poured it into the coffee! My father-in-law is super happy!). It's a shame we only discovered this place in our second and last week of stay, otherwise we would have come much more! Excellent food from raw to FIRST courses (risotto and seafood SPECIAL) to the super mixed grill which I had 4 evenings in a row, SPECIAL... too bad I didn't even have a photo!! Abundant dishes and prices in line with other restaurants nearby. Really super recommended, thanks for everything!

Ristorante Pizzeria Locanda Ferrari

24/02/2025: Met through word of mouth among friends. My husband loves oysters and here they are fresh and from the area (they are very famous!), I ate dishes with excellent raw materials, I had clams and mussels so meaty I had never heard of them before. We were served by the same kind, professional and very friendly owner and prepared on the products. Fantastic homemade dessert
