Osteria I Quattro Angeli In Ferrara

This is the second time I've passed through Ferrara and stopped at this osteria, for a reason that's often overlooked: the certified gluten-free cuisine! Excellent quality, a wide selection that largely reflects the "normal" menu. I enjoyed the pumpkin cappellacci with melted parmesan and guanciale, even in the height of summer! I'm always happy to find places like this with reasonable prices, where they understand that celiac disease isn't a fad and don't raise prices!

Nice restaurant and good service

The food was good, the service was excellent, and the house wine was excellent... Good value for money... kudos to the girls.

The food wasn’t bad, the prices are reasonable, and the restaurant is in a nice location on a small square with a view of the castle. Just the service wasn’t friendly.

In the center of Ferrara after visiting the exhibition at Palazzo Diamanti, with the family we had lunch in this location overlooking the Castle of Ferrara. Tagliatelle with Ferrarese ragù and other local dishes that satisfied us. In their menu there are both seafood and meat options. Very friendly staff and fair prices.

I work in organizing study trips to Italy for foreign students. Every time I accompany a group to visit Ferrara, I no longer have doubts about where to take them out for dinner! The staff is kind and welcoming. The service is attentive, fast and impeccable, even when we participate with large groups. The kitchen offers a wide choice of typical Ferrarese and Italian dishes, with great care in satisfying the needs of each customer. An important aspect for our programs and that we always appreciate is the attention to food intolerances and allergies by the staff. There are also several options for celiacs, as well as vegetarian options! Every time we come to dinner at Osteria Quattro Angeli we enjoy dishes such as Ferrarese pinzini with cured meats and cheeses, the famous Ferrarese pumpkin cappellacci, and many other delicious dishes and desserts. We have always found ourselves well with you, to the point that we have decided to propose Osteria Quattro Angeli as a fixed stop on our training programs in Ferrara. Ristorante discreto, con buoni primi e secondi (non allo stesso livello gli affettati). La grande peccca è stato il servizio lentissimo: più di 1 ora è 1/2 per pranzare (senza dolce e caffè) mi sembra un pò troppo.

Non capendo fino in fondo le critiche di essere un "ristorante turistico" scegliamo questo ristorante tra una visita e l'altra, anche per la comodita: siamo in piazza Castello, proprio di fronte al celeberrimo Castello Estense. È un locale turistico? Si, considerando la posizione centrale. Si può mangiare bene in un ristorante turistico? Per la nostra esperienza si! Nel menu abbiamo trovato piatti tipici: buoni, ben eseguiti e abbondanti. Il servizio veloce, nonostante il locale pieno, e gentile Abbiamo mangiato bene spendendo quello che ci si aspetta di spendere in un locale in centro. Consigliamo di prenotare, specie nel fine settimana, anche per evitare di attendere.
