Osteria I Quattro Angeli In Ferrara

It's a shame about the good, excellent and plentiful food, but the location outside in December needs to be totally reviewed. Having lunch with a jacket and hat, those who were near the mushroom cooked their heads, those near the door froze...draughts everywhere. The waitresses did everything they could to keep the door closed but to serve the tables they also had to go in and out....You don't do that with customers, whether they are hit-or-run tourists or locals (in our case)..Take it as advice to improve the external part... perhaps it is better to take a few fewer covers in winter and guarantee a complete service and keep customers "warm": also because we paid the same as those who were warm inside.

We (my wife and I) spent a week in Ferrara and dined here twice. The food was fine and the portions were generous. Very good value for money. The service was friendly, we were quickly seated and the food was served quickly. The restaurant is centrally located with a view of the impressive castello.

Typical tavern with traditional Ferrara dishes and some new dishes but with traditional ingredients. I've always eaten like heaven. Perfect location in Piazza Cannone in the city center. Perfect service. Prices in line with high quality.

I had the pleasure of eating here with my family for my birthday. The food was fantastic, starting from the cutting boards, up to the first courses and the desserts (in particular the Ferrarese pasticcio with truffle cream was fabulous). The service was excellent, and particular thanks go to Florencia, who served us in a friendly, attentive way and showing a lot of kindness and preparation.

Posto centrale, nella piazza del Castello. Per quanto riguarda il mangiare nulla da dire. Abbiamo mangiato bene e speso quello che ora normalmente si spende per cenare fuori in un ristorante di medio livello. Il personale è molto gentile. Metto 3 stelle perché in fase di prenotazione del tavolo ho espressamente chiesto se ci fosse aria condizionata all'interno. Mi hanno risposto di sì, ed effettivamente c'era. Peccato che sia noi commensali che il personale di sala stavamo visibilmente sudando perché, nonostante la sala fosse piccola e nonostante la mia richiesta di abbassare la temperatura, mi è stato detto che una temperatura avrebbe infastidito i clienti. Una risposta che non aveva senso, visto che come ho detto prima stavamo tutti sudando. Abbiamo mangiato e siamo scappati per il caldo.

Personale molto gentile e disponibile, i piatti altrettanto buoni e i prezzi sono ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, posto super consigliato per mangiare nel centro di Ferrara
