OSTERIA FRASCHETTA TRINCA In Frascati

It was the first time I went there, I was a guest for a birthday. Happy birthday, Valeria. I was really satisfied. Everything was delicious. Friendly waiters. Very clean place. Characteristic of Frascati with the Cave rooms.

I wish there had been time to point out to the relevant authorities that... The structure is original and astonishing. The service was very fast, attentive, and courteous. The lasagna was wonderful. The mixed platter... I expected better quality porchetta (dry and lacking in character). Another negative aspect was the transparency of the two slices of prosciutto, two soppressata, and two capocollo, which were truly embarrassing to present. Obviously, I keep in mind that for the price charged, one could and should do better. Also because, it's impossible to enjoy its goodness unless you serve it in the right quantity. But I'll be back, and I'll let you know. Good work.

There aren't any major difficulties in reaching this osteria. Parking might be a problem for those with a large car, as there are limited and inconvenient parking spaces. The place is wonderful, beautifully maintained, set in a cellar entirely in a cave inside and outside with gazebos. The entire place, including the bathroom, is well-managed and spotlessly clean. The staff is generally professional, but there isn't a great selection of dishes because we were informed that real fraschette don't serve first and second courses, but only mixed antipasti and vegetables. The appetizer is chicory, and their wine is exceptional. The porchetta is good, but the rind wasn't crispy, and could have been improved. At the end of the evening, the lady at the cash register offered us a dessert. We were expecting one of their house desserts, but instead, to our immense surprise and much appreciated, they gave us a bottle of wine. I've never had that happen before. We'll definitely be back, and if you're in this beautiful city, you won't regret eating at this osteria.

An experience to repeat, the service was excellent and the quality of the food really good.

They don't serve cold dishes, but everything they serve is excellent and plentiful, and the food is delicious. The location is very unique, with the interior consisting of a walkway leading down to the ground floor, with caves on the sides, where the tables are located. It's spectacular and very cool in the summer.

The atmosphere is truly osteria-like. We had a great time, and the appetizers were exceptional. The cured meats and cheeses were truly excellent, as were the desserts. The place is truly unique, with this cave setting hosting several tables nestled in the alcoves. Especially in the summer heat, it's very cool, even below 20 degrees! Congratulations, it was truly a wonderful, unique experience!

Everything was excellent, the mixed selection was very plentiful and the quality/price ratio was excellent.

A very charming and unique location, allowing you to unplug from the outside world as the phone connection is slow. The place is clean and the staff are friendly, fun, and cheerful. Grandma's dishes are excellent; we had the entire menu and everything was very tasty, from appetizers to dessert. Super convenient quality/price ratio; I hope to return soon.

Sono tornato in questo locale molto caratteristico ed ho ritrovato la gentilezza e l'affabilità degli addetti. Ho trovato,però, un pò eccessivo i prezzi (70 €) per due persone avendo mangiato un gran misto, una porzione di cicorietta, una di fegatelli con carciofi, una birra, una bottiglia d'acqua ed un dolce. Saranno i tempi che corrono....

Vicino al fresco di Frascati in una via panoramica chiusa sotto la collina cè questo tipico e caratteristico locale molto bello e grande all'inetrno si svolge con molte sale a scendere scavate nella roccia e ben illuminate. D'inverno e d'estste la temperatira è la stessa e quindi preferibile venirci qualno cè il solleone , Noi a marzo faceva un po' freddino ed umido e si indossava con piacere il giaccone. Servono in maggioranza taglieri con salumi e formaggi , porchetta. Noi invece abbiamo assaggiato la lasagna della nonna a 8 € (del proprietario ) discreta . il vino rosso sfuso non è un granchè. Cortesia . Parcheggio comodo subito fuori , Ottimo per un pranzo estivo per scappare dall'afa della città.
