Magical place, out of time. Truly spectacular cellar. Excellent frico and friendly and helpful service. The free trade books initiative is wonderful. A unique place that stands out among many anonymous places. To try and for me to return.

The excellent bruschetta Margherita dishes and the light piadina (both delicious), the wine (a truly remarkable variety), the atmosphere, the hospitality that pampers you and makes you feel at home... as well as the possibility of many varied books ❤ the sandwich with Triestino cooked ham is also excellent... for those who love real flavors ❤ the sweet panna cotta with caramelized almonds is heaven with every taste 🌈 I highly recommend 🤗

I was enchanted by this place from times gone by, it feels like entering a fairy tale. Hospitality and kindness, sandwiches that are perfection, pie served directly in the pan and desserts that are a pleasure. The owner showed us around the cellar, spectacular! Impossible to resist such wonder. Come back as soon as possible!

Casa Del Pellegrino

20/06/2024: The hotel has new owners. I stayed there for one night at the end of May because I was hiking on the Alpe Adria Trail. The accommodation is perfect for this! The room was clean, the service was great, the breakfast was plentiful with homemade cake. There's a restaurant opposite where I had dinner. The bus to Cividale leaves directly from the monastery. Very nice staff!
