Osteria due Mari In Taranto

Great place, the food is very good. The waiter Nicolo is very pleasant, attentive, and very cheerful. Special mention for the squid. We came when there was a rather busy birthday party, but despite the crowds, the service was impeccable. I gave the food 4 stars because the pink salt was a bit too much. Otherwise, go there with your eyes closed, I recommend it.

The dishes are of excellent quality, the mussels au gratin and the paccheri due mari were really excellent. The only flaw was when we were served a glass of rosé instead of white and instead of two portions of mussels au gratin only one, despite everything I would return because the quality is excellent.

Good food, very fresh clams. In the mixed fry the prawns were not very fresh

I happened upon this restaurant during a business trip to Taranto and given the good reviews and the fact that it was close to my hotel I booked for dinner. Excellent first course, good calamari, perhaps more could have been done on the dessert but overall everything was very very good. Simple atmosphere, friendly service

We were on Sunday evening with a group of biker friends, there were 8 of us. Excellent food, excellent appetizers, excellent first courses. I really liked the gnocchi with fish. The wine we chose accompanied the dinner perfectly. Excellent price, in fact, lower than we expected. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

L’Osteria Due Mari incarna perfettamente il concetto di buona cucina a prezzi accessibili. Maurizio, il titolare, e Giovanni, lo chef, sono sempre disponibili e attenti alle esigenze dei clienti. I piatti preparati dallo chef sono eccellenti, con pesce fresco e di prima qualità. I’ambiente è tranquillo ed accogliente, reso anche più piacevole dal servizio ai tavoli di Nicolò. Assolutamente consigliato, perfetto sia per una pausa pranzo veloce se siete nella zona, che per una cena o un pranzo rilassato durante il weekend.

Locale informale ma di sostanza, un menu’ giusto che propone piatti tipici della zona la maggior parte a base di pesce, una buona materia prima. Personale di sala capace e in grado di consigliarti al meglio. Unica pecca i piatti dovrebbero arrivare tutti insieme in modo da permettere ai commensali di mangiare nello stesso momento, questa cosa oggi è mancata tra un antipasto e gli altri 2 sono passato circa 5 minuti. Il locale non è enorme ma gli spazi consentono di stare comodi e avere la giusta privacy. Rapporto qualità prezzo molto buono.
