Osteria Due Cuori In Biella

Small place, very intimate, very historic, I would say a shop from the past. Very friendly owners and staff. Menu that includes various vegetarian dishes as well as typical Piedmontese ones. We had courgette flans, risotto with nettles and robiola, tiramisu and chocolate cake. Our friends also tried the artichoke salad and ravioli del plin. To my taste, the flans were good, the tiramisu was excellent, but I wasn't particularly convinced by the risotto (I prefer it more savoury and with a stronger flavour). I found the correct bill: 4 starters, 4 first courses, 4 desserts, 2 bottles of water, 1 of Erbaluce and 4 coffees for €184. Possibility of purchasing torcetti and meringues. I appreciated the small meringues served with the coffee (delicious and coming from someone who doesn't like meringues) and the fact that the owner offered a wonderful, and very welcome, snack to our friends' dog. Kindness that makes the difference. Must try again.

The restaurant is located in the historic center of the Piazzo di Biella village and overlooks the main square of the town. The place is ancient, small but welcoming, with attention to detail that enhances it. The staff is very kind and hospitable, attentive to customers. The dishes, typical of local cuisine, are delicious and have high quality ingredients. Honest prices. Friendliness, courtesy and quality. Highly recommended.

Absolutely delicious food. Perfect polenta concha. Fresh artichoke salad. Chestnut gnocchi. Tagliata. Chestnut ice cream and sabayon. Everything is homemade with care and heart. A regional nebbiolo to wash it all down, without forgetting a glass of prosecco as an aperitif. An excellent evening in the most beautiful square in Biella.

Good lunch and pampered by two kind ladies. Good raw materials and dishes from Piedmontese cuisine.

A red wine Bue Grasso with polenta and a glass of Barbara and it's heaven!

Avevo letto alcune recensioni non propriamente positive ma, seguendo l'ispirazione, ho prenotato per il sabato a pranzo. Scelta azzeccatissima! Piatti tipici piemontesi, preparazione impeccabile e gusto da 10 e lode. Ottima carta dei vini. Dolci fantastici. Prezzi in linea con la qualità e con i costi della materia prima. Assolutamente consigliato.

Locale intimo sotto i portici del piazzo. Personale cordiale e sorridente, piatti discretamente buoni anche se nulla di particolarmente elaborato o originale. Prezzi in linea, le porzioni potrebbero essere un pò più abbondanti. Forse un filo alto il coperto, 3 euro a persona.
