The atmosphere is truly lovely, both inside and out. The dishes are traditional Tuscan, yet refined and unconventional. We had a truly delicious grilled meal. The staff was attentive and willing to accommodate my gluten intolerance.

Farmhouse located in the hills just outside Empoli, comfortable atmosphere both inside and out, classic Tuscan menu, good service and good quality of food and service. Why 3 stars? Because the price is slightly high compared to the quantity and the offerings. Still worth a try.

17/08/2025: Excellent food, courtesy and professionalism from everyone. Reservations are required, but it's definitely worth it. The owners are truly friendly and helpful.
17/08/2025: Ferragosto lunch, a very welcoming and clean location, excellent service with friendly and helpful staff. The seafood menu was truly delicious, with a warm seafood appetizer: black tortelli stuffed with grouper in a shrimp ragù (delicious), and the crispy, dry fried fish with a lovely variety. The prices were reasonable, especially considering it was Santa Maria. Highly recommended.

Casa della Bistecca - Food Club House

10/06/2025: Rarely has a restaurant impressed us so much that we returned several times – but the Casa della Bistecca in Empoli did it. The meat quality is outstanding: perfectly aged, prepared to perfection, and presented with attention to detail. From the Bistecca Fiorentina to the finer cuts – everything is just right here. The desserts are a poem. Add to that a stylish, cozy ambiance and attentive service. Highly recommended.
