So tasty! One of the best dinners we’ve had in Italy so far. And that’s not easy because usually most Italian places serve really good food. But here I even wanted to soak up the last leftovers with their homemade bread. Super good. We haven’t even reached the second course and I’m already sure that this is a wonderful place!!!

A small osteria in the heart of the upper part of Canelli. Excellent dinner featuring local products, all homemade. Friendly staff, excellent wine, and great background music. A little gem worth trying! Betta e Fish

We had the most wonderful dinner at Sternia. The food; the zucchini flower, the red cabbage with blue cheese and the lamb shoulder was in particular something we loved about our dinner experience here. We highly recommend this place, best meal of our two weeks trip. Plus the service and the welcoming was wonderful.

Beautiful place, we were welcomed by the very friendly owners. Very good food, homemade pasta. When I asked for a cheese board, he served me a series of exquisite local cheeses with detailed explanations accompanied by homemade jam.

Inerpicato su per una via in ciottolato di Canelli da raggiungere esclusivamente a piedi dalla vicina piazza è un locale accogliente e informale con personale giovane.
La cucina è tipica del territorio ma leggermente rivisitata. Oltre al consueto menu è possibile scegliere i piatti del giorno elencati in una apposita lavagnetta. Forse le porzioni sono un po' sottotono...

L’Osteria D'la Sternia offre un’esperienza culinaria senza particolari emozioni. Il cibo è corretto, senza grandi slanci creativi, e il servizio risulta adeguato ma senza quel tocco di calore che farebbe la differenza. La location ha il suo fascino, ma nel complesso il locale non lascia un ricordo memorabile. Una scelta discreta per un pasto senza troppe pretese. Considerando i prezzi, ci si aspetterebbe qualcosa di più in termini di qualità e cura. Enorme potenziale invece.
