07/01/2026: We had a wonderful meal at this trattoria on the outskirts of Modena. If you want to try authentic local cuisine, homemade, come here. Everything was delicious, from the gnocco fritto to the tortellini to the meat. Extremely friendly staff. Prices are average.
05/01/2026: How wonderful these places in Modena are, where the city still maintains its identity and avoids overcharging!
This trattoria has everything you need for an excellent dinner without spending a fortune.
Let's start with the dishes: we had an appetizer of gnocco fritto, tigelle, cured meats, lard, and cheese for €16, which we shared between two.
The whole time, we wondered if the owners had made a mistake, because it was so much and so delicious. But no, with this appetizer for two, you can eat a lot and even finish the meal.
We, however, continued with homemade tagliatelle with mushrooms and ragù, followed by a salad.
No wine, but all in all, it came to just over €50.
And I—always a sensitive stomach—despite being full, had a great time!
The place is warm and welcoming, and the staff is attentive, kind, and cheerful. Recommended!
