⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆ We arrived just a few minutes before the kitchen closed, and the waitress seemed really stressed for us to order quickly — we barely had time to think or ask questions. We ordered the pici pasta with aglione sauce, which was excellent, and the lasagna, which was disappointing — very small, with almost no béchamel or sauce at all. Overall, mixed experience: great pasta, but rushed service and an disappointing lasagna.

The food was pretty good, although some dishes (roasted vegetables, in my case) were so salty I couldn't stomach them. The staff was friendly enough, but the prices were a bit high.

We stopped on our way through Montalcino, a typical Tuscan town, and had pasta with white ragù and wild boar with polenta, both delicious and of good quality. A pleasant lunch in an equally charming village.

Nous avons dîné dans un cette bonne osteria située dans la rue principale de Montelcino jusqu’à côté des remparts. Très bon accueil, prise de commande rapide et très bons plats de pâtes. Nous avons pris en entrée un assortiment de charcuteries italiennes et ensuite des pinci à la bolognaise et à la chapelure et en dessert une panna cotta à la pistache. Super adresse en toute simplicité et avec de bons plats typiques toscans. Je recommande

02/11/2025: Hidden gem in the hills of Chianti not to far from San Donato we came across this wonderful spot that if you weren’t paying attention you would pass right on by. We discovered it 8-9 years ago and we’ve been returning ever since, sometimes twice in a trip. Amazing view and a wonderful outdoor covered patio. This was the first place where I ordered Porcini mushrooms and the waiter brought out a platter of uncooked ones for me to pick from. Absolutely delicious as all of their dishes are. I especially like the pappardelle with the wild boar ragu. Be sure to try a bottle of the local Chianti - our favorite is the Quercia Al Poggio,
03/10/2025: My wife booked a wine tasting here for her birthday while we were visiting from the US. Wonderful experience, friendly & accommodating staff, great food and wine. Our presenter was knowledgeable and courteous to our MANY questions. We'd highly recommend visiting here.

09/11/2025: During our stay in Siena, we visited this restaurant twice, and each time was a confirmation. We tried the platter of local products, which was truly excellent and fresh, and three dishes from the menu: the meat tartare, the lampredotto (incredible, given how good it was!), and the pappa al pomodoro, simply delicious. Special mention goes to the desserts, which round out the meal in the most perfect way possible. The bill has always been fair for the quality, and the staff is exquisite and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. This is an absolutely worthwhile place—and we can't wait to return.
08/11/2025: Amazing first meal in sienna. Enjoyed the vibe in the restaurant, the food is amazing the waitresses are super nice, if u r late u gotta get in line waiting.
