04/09/2025: We had dinner for two at Il Loggiato in Bagno Vignoni, and the experience was truly enjoyable in every way.
The menu we chose included Chianina beef tartare with fresh truffle, a cacio e pepe potato tortello with fresh truffle, pici with Chianina ragù, and, to finish, tiramisu and a chocolate brownie. All accompanied by two glasses of Nobile di Montepulciano. The quality of the food was excellent: fresh ingredients, carefully prepared dishes, and generous portions.
We dined outdoors, in a truly peaceful setting, perfect for families with children. The staff was kind and attentive throughout the evening, without ever being intrusive.
A few helpful details: they don't take reservations after 9:30 PM, so it's best to plan ahead; there's a large parking lot nearby, which is very convenient; due to the large number of guests, it's recommended to book in advance.
The bill was €40 per person, a figure in line with the quality and average prices in the area (€30-40 per person).
In short: a welcoming place, excellent cuisine, a relaxed atmosphere, and professional service. A place we'll gladly return to.
01/09/2025: This restaurant is right across from the Bagno Vignoni thermal baths, with a stunning view and excellent food. We had a quick lunch with delicious and original crostoni, but there's a wide selection of traditional dishes. The service is impeccable, and there are also two indoor dining rooms perfectly decorated to recreate a medieval atmosphere. Reservations are recommended, especially for outdoor seating.
