Osteria Di Pessitt In Pusiano

Normal food, nothing special, the risotto with perch was a bit watered down, the waiter scolded me because I put lemon on the fried fish and in the end I also ended up with an extra dish on my bill.

"Pessitt" is the Lombard word for small fishes typical of the Lombard lakes. The "Osteria di Pessitt" (Pessitt Tavern) takes its name from these small fishes, and of course serves them, together with several other typical dishes of the area around Lake Como. I was here for dinner and I tries the "Bowl of fried Pessitt" with a green salad. Food was excellent, service was good, prices were medium.

We wanted to try it at midday upon reservation and we were happy to sit in the lounge area which is well furnished and very bright. Alternatively there is also a beautiful terrace. We chose to have lunch by consulting the "small menu" which has the right number of courses, all tasty and well assorted. The service is courteous, simple and never invasive. The dishes tasted (fried pessit, risotto with perch fillets, fusilloni with duck ragú and pistachios, breaded whitefish with leeks and courgettes, pineapple carpaccio with ginger and cinnamon, tiramisu, coffee) were cooked and served with the right timing: all very well made and really good. The quantities were very satisfactory. The still house wine, even in bottles, is honest and suitable for convivial occasions. You hit the mark by choosing traditional lake dishes. The value for money, taking everything into account, is there. Well done.

Bella location,in riva al lago, ottimo parcheggio davanti e dietro. Noi eravamo in una sala a parte , cibo anche locale (pesce persico del lago di Como) molto buono , vini ottimi.

Cozy place, very friendly and welcoming staff. Very good food. We ate the fried pesset as an appetizer, what can I say, very good and light, a generous quantity for two people. Sauteed snails with polenta, generous quantities and cooked to perfection, delicious. We will return as soon as possible.
