We had dinner at this osteria on Saturday evening. We found it by chance, and it was a delightful discovery! The food was excellent, classic Piacenza dishes made with quality ingredients. The guy was super friendly and helpful in explaining the dishes to us. Highly recommended if you're in the area!

We happened upon it by chance for Sunday lunch, excellent cured meats, sublime Gorgonzola! Homemade pasta, as well as desserts. We ordered pumpkin tortelli, they melted in our mouths! Kind and courteous service. Well done! We'll be back!

In occasione della fiera ARMI E BAGAGLI tre anni fa casualmente abbiamo conosciuto questo ristorante e da allora tutti gli anni in quell'occasione ci torniamo e anche in altre, quando vogliamo mangiare cibi particolari, buoni, nostrani in un ambiente alla mano.

21/06/2025: Restaurant approved with flying colors. In times when it is increasingly rare to be able to say "we ate well", here substance and appearance happily go hand in hand. Menu that ranges beyond the classic Piacenza proposals, which are not lacking anyway. Today, already knowing the traditional local dishes well, we opted for the fish alternatives. Dishes cared for, in taste and appearance. Attentive service. Mise en place without frills but precise and of quality (and with a nice tablecloth... no runner, nor "bare" table, thank you). I was the only one drinking, so I opted for the house Ortrugo, which was pleasant. Ventilated and bright terrace. Really honest price, also returning to the initial premise. I will be back. I recommend it to those who read! 👍

Antica Trattoria Giovanelli

30/08/2025: Nestled in the foothills of Piacenza. Pleasant and well-kept place. Professional and friendly staff. Delicious Culaccia, perfect tortelli and plenty of them. The stuffed zucchini are good, but the quantity is limited, which I've noticed with other main courses. The price is good. The zabaglione is delicious. The price is high compared to an average of the same quality. The use of quality raw materials is evident.
17/08/2025: Summer lunch at a trattoria recommended by friends. A pleasant veranda with tables spaced far apart, without any buzz. Excellent cured meats, superb herb tortelli, professional service, and a fair price. We'll definitely return, even though it's about an hour's drive from Milan. Worth it!
