Excellent every time! Be sure to make a reservation! Great fish dishes, fantastic wine selection. Located on the canal, with views of the water and fishing boats. What more could you want in Grado!

The calamarata with seafood and the boretto alla Grado pasta were delicious. The price was a little higher than at other restaurants in the area I've been to. Friendly service.

Last evening in Grado, we wanted to have a seafood dinner... We decided to come to this restaurant for its location near the lagoon and because it's owned by a fishermen's consortium. Being Venetian, I know this means fresh fish of the day. I couldn't have made a better choice. The staff were very friendly, recommending a still white wine from Aquileia and explaining the menu and daily additions. We had a truly excellent mixed antipasto: spaghetti with clams, with plenty of flavorful and well-cleaned lupini clams. It's not a given. Linguine with baby octopus sauce was FABULOUS! For the main course, a mixed fried fish dish. Not the usual fried fish with calamari, etc., but whole fish, incredibly fresh because they melted in your mouth with a dry fried dish accompanied by fried vegetables. I found the bill fair considering what we ate and the quality of the fish. And I repeat, as a Venetian, I know how to recognize fresh fish, and here you can't go wrong! Recommended!

Good but children's portion spaghetti with clams 50g 25g more doesn't cost anything.

The restaurant is located in a very quiet and pleasant pedestrian area, opposite the canal where the fishermen's boats dock, completely out of the tourist flow, even if it seems well known to tourists.
The proposal is correct, without haute cuisine flourishes, without high-quality proposals because here the concept (hence the name of the restaurant) is to serve what they catch, so if they don't catch sea bass in Grado, you won't find it on your plate.
The raw fish is fresh, even too fresh if we consider that they were served very cold; as mentioned, forget about scampi, tuna and company: the catch is local: leccia, grey mullet and so on.
The fried food is good, light and prepared with care; the scallops with pistachio are appreciable; the boreto is good, made of common fish but with little "brodetto": it was more of a stewed fish; the grilled cuttlefish is correct and nothing more; the desserts are few and predictable, but the crema catalana was tasty and light.
The supermarket bread served reflects the general mentality of the place: let's not stress ourselves too much looking for tasty things...
The white wine from Collavini is good (35€), in the context of a wine list without excellences.
For a total of 63€ per person.

We were there with our 2-year-old daughter and felt very welcome. The ladies made every effort to organize everything in a child-friendly way. The food was fantastic, as always, and the service was very attentive. Reservations are recommended!
