Professional and welcoming service, good cutting board and even the (brushed) plates of gnocchi with blue cheese fondue lacked a bit of punch, very delicate (I preferred a stronger flavour). The carbonada was very good but the portion was a little small.
The environment needs to be revised, it seems that the rather run-down place does not reflect the cuisine and the care taken in the dishes.

Osteria has always been synonymous with an informal environment, traditional cuisine at a good price....I found the first two characteristics, the third a little less so. In my opinion a little expensive
A good lunch with traditional food. Everything was excellent, the chestnuts with honey, butter and Arnad lard, the concia polenta and everything else. Also ideal for a snack

Gitarella domenicale per la visita alle mostre presso il Forte di Bard. Scegliamo questo locale ad Arnad attratti dalla semplicità dimostrata nelle immagini delle altre recensioni. In effetti il locale è molto semplice, tipico ristorante da pranzo della domenica, frequentato dai locali. Personale cordiale, dehor poco curato e un po' spoglio, toilette all'esterno anch'essa poco curata. Il cibo però merita, ottimo il tagliere gourmet ed il lardo con le castagne caramellate, così come gli gnocchi alle ortiche con blu d'Aosta e il gustoso cinghiale. Prezzi forse un filino alti data la tipologia di locale e la semplicità dei piatti, giustificati però da una materia prima che abbiamo trovato davvero buona.

Pranzo della domenica tra amiche in questo ottimo ristorante.
Innanzitutto personale molto gentile e professionale e poi piatti squisiti.
I gnocchi alle ortiche con il bleu d’Aoste erano strepitosi , il roast-beef si scioglieva in bocca!
E il semifreddo con caramello salato indimenticabile!
Un grande applauso alla cuoca che tra l’altro è una persona di una gentilezza che non se ne trovano più!

Typical very welcoming place after entering from the bar which initially (for me) 'displaces' a little.
But the surprise of the room that follows is positive, which is what counts (...never stop at appearances).
Very refined, home-made culinary front. You can feel and see the passion of those who cook in the dishes. The wine list is excellent. Very friendly staff.

Cozy place, very friendly staff. Excellent dishes where real flavors can be felt. I was impressed with the roast beef, delicious. Prices normal. I highly recommend.
