The atmosphere and staff were welcoming, and the phone charging option was much appreciated. I was pleasantly surprised by the first order, which was larger than expected, without compromising on quality. The bathroom was clean, and the prices were in line with the service offered and the central location in Rome. The only downside was that I wasn't able to pay with an Amex credit card; although that's not a problem, perhaps considering the location, it might be a good idea to accept it.

Went with a local to this place - it has nice character and was quiet (until a table full of Americans showed up - we're always kinda the noisy ones) - anyway there are seafood options galore here. I hadn't eaten for over 8 hours, and sadly I had been feeling a little queasy from the bumpy and jerky bus ride to get there, followed by all the exhaust fumes from car and motorcycles along the narrow streets. I chose the gnocchi instead of a meat/seafood dish while my dinner companion, she chose the swordfish. The bread (or at least some of it as there was some variety) they brought out was lightly salted and brushed with oil, giving it some extra kick than the usual dry table bread. The gnocchi was very good - they make the larger discs instead of the smaller rounds. There were 8 of them lying out on the plate with fresh cheese grated on them - they weren't drowning in a heavy sauce or anything like that. It was tasty and something I might order again. My dinner companion enjoyed her swordfish. I got a creme brulee while my companion ordered the chocolate with fruit. Both were good - although the creme brulee seemed different than that I've had in France - not bad, just different.- maybe with an Italian twist? I couldn't quite put my finger on it. This is an upscale place - the food is done very well, but you pay for that and get smaller portions in return - so keep that in mind if you are the type of diner that wants a massive amount of food.

It was very tasty, a hummus bite starter, really special and delicious, we also ordered a roast duck dish, and one of the specials of the day of roast beef in Dijon mustard sauce with potatoes, we received a recommendation for a glass of red wine and another rosé. It was great

An excellent option in one of Rome's most central alleys. Prices are reasonable but not high, and the products are good quality, served with kindness and professionalism. A wonderful experience. Excellent Gricia.

Really an oasis in a very busy city. You step inside to a calm, cool little relaxed place with nice people who serve truly delicious food. Some of the best I had in Rome. Family friendly, too.

Locale dell’atmosfera alternativa e accogliente, con personale gentile e sempre disponibile. La cucina offre i piatti autentici della tradizione romana anche arricchiti con tocchi creativi ma non invasivi, i tonnarelli alla gricia con carciofi croccanti sono ottimi! Ampia e diversificata la carta dei vini con diverse cantine di varia provenienza. Da tornarci …anche come turista!
